I'm like this too, but i think its because its easier for me to communicate in english and i speak with my hubby in a foreign language and i cant think of the right things to say correctly so i revert to writing things out when we have an issue first, after i have clearly made my points, then i can handle talking cuz i know he knows all that i feel at that point... i've had a situation where i had to do some confronting, it wasn't pretty but i did it and i think we're stronger now, but like i said before, it takes 2 to tango...

Finally after many weeks at the NVC stage due to the fee change for the IV and Amman switching over to 100% electronic for all forms we FINALLY got case complete today. Amman switched the AOS to electronic April 25th after I had already send the I 864 and it was accepted on April 10th, I had to wait for them to return the whole package(I didn't receive it until yesterday) I scanned the package and sent it last night and received my case complete email this morning. I can't tell you how stressful NVC was for us because no one at the NVC ever gave me the same answer twice, and no one could ever answer when or how I would receive my documents back. I am so happy that I no longer have to call them several times a day only to hit a dead end of answers. Now it's on to the embassy and interview, I am so glad this stage is over!!!!!!!!

Keep in mind, the responsibilities of the AOS aren't put into effect until the foreign spouse has their visa and does POE. Until then, it's just a form. So he can safely send it now without worry.

Oh ok, then perhaps he can go ahead then... if it wont make a difference. I just hate to take on that responsibility for someone that wasn't the sure thing at the moment...

thanks Meno...what was supposed to be the easiest part of the process turned out to be the most difficult. The i 130 was a breeze in comparison!!!

If you think about it, it wouldn't make any sense that the AOS wouldn't take affect until the spouse arrives in the US as it's about supporting the spouse living in the US.

hahaha...yeah until it gets to the interview...I am flying to Amman to be with hubby,..I can't wait!!!!!!! I just pray pray pray we don't get AP, which seems to be common in Amman. But I will worry about that if and when it happens...I am just in shock right now that it's finally going to the last stage, seems surreal...I never imagined how hard this journey was when we started. Had no idea what a detailed and difficult process it would be. My husband and I are just like everyone else here, we just want to be reunited and start our lives together in the same place.

Well I really tried for the last 6 months to get things working, I tried to go visit and resolve our differences but we have a big issue communicating. As much as I try we can't resolve our differences because she refuses to talk. She says the most hurtful things to me and from all that it looks like now she says that she will never love me, she will never have respect for me in her heart, and many other things. I would just wish for us to talk about our issues and work towards resolving them but she doesn't want to even talk to me. She never considered herself married, for her it was when we are living together we will be married. I did not like a few of the things she did which I don't expect any married person to do. I tried so much but last 2 months I have had more than enough. I lost my job because of this, I am losing my mind also. I would still want to reconcile but I can only do that if she is also willing.

I'm sorry that things are not going well with your wife. It's unfortunate that your communication is not good as maybe it's not you but the thought of moving that is making her not act right.

A quick question - I already have had bank letter, prepared all the kind of payment stubs, bank statements, etc. My question is, after I sent AOS documents, do I need to bring additional incoming months' payment stubs/bank statements to interview? I am self-employed, frequently transfer $ from my biz account to my personal accounts, so the bank statements etc would look like a mess to others ...
