Quick questions - Where did u get your PCC from? Passport office/Local police station.

oh my i think i have an addiction :wacko:

Im staring at the phone, i wanna pick it up and call NVC...but... there's nothing i need to find out. now i just feel like a phyco :bonk:

my AOS packet was delivered last friday and my IV was delived today so i know for sure they havent approved any..

I gotta find something to do till Monday... guess id be looking for a 5 day hobby goush i hate weekends. :blink:

I perfectly understand how you're feeling because we have all at some point felt like that. This is (I believe) the most ackward process in the world where you "enjoy paying bills" and "hate weekends" LOL! but hang in there and keep your mind occupied in different activities or you will go nuts and will end up looking like this :girlwerewolf2xn:

Oh goodness... A false RFE (or so I think... Hubby's on hold with the NVC as we speak).

Got a "Checklist" email that says:

___1-IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:___

The Embassy/ Consulate where you will be interviewed requires you to submit an electronic form DS-261 whcih can be found at:

http://travel.state.gov/vias/immigrants/info/info_5165/html. ............

However, we sent that in as soon as we were able to, (like an hour after we got our OPTIN-email approval), and it is officially accepted and completed. According to an email confirmation, and a "completed" check on the CEAC portal.

Ugh, making me nervous!

Anyone have any tips on this? :)

just got a checklist from nvc.

False false false I paid my IV bill as soon as it posted. So I guess after all I had to call nvc to confirm.

I asked if the AOS packet got approved n she said yes but couldn't give me a date.

She then.... Wait for it, wait for it..... Yea she did, she quoted me the famous 20 day blah blah.

I don't knw y tho I didn't ask her anything after the AOS lolll.

your AOS might be approved by now, call and see... give the IV another day...

When you send in the DS 3032, you'll get an auto response that it was received... in a week or so, you should get a reply to the email you sent saying that your choice of agent has been accepted... the second email that replies to the one you sent is the acceptance...

LOL, i got a false checklist to pay the IV even though they hadn't posted it yet either... i just ignored it... and i'm seeing that you did actually call now and saw that the AOS was approved, CONGRATS!!! :D they should've been able to tell you when... find out on ur next call tomorrow maybe...

I got n email but I got it like 15mins after I paid the IV bill. If u have ur invoice I'd# u can sign in now n then to see if any fee is invoiced. Some people get there's quick n some just have to wait a bit. My timeline is in my signature line below.

05/07/12: IV Bill Generated, Paid & IV Packet Sent (05/08/12: IV Status "PAID")
05/09/12: IV packet delivered to NVC (info via USPS.com)

ROC: Eligible May 19th, 2014- Received letter from USCIS

 

May 2014- Husband is an American Solider with his US Citizenship.
