i wonder if emailing the scan of our NOA2 (I 797?? ok i forgot what that thing called) will actually work?? almost 4 weeks.......and no case Number!!!!!!!!!!!! please please NVC, i'm so tired of this waiting game...........

I'm officially losing my mind! This process has burned out my brain cells... We have RBC bank with accounts in Canada and the US, they are linked so we can transfer money between them. This is a conversation Mr. Sheeshka and I had this evening.

Hello my fellow members,

I think I will join you all here now as NVC has finally received my case today.

16 days to receive it, now hoping for a speedy case number assignment as I have

all required documents in the launch pad awaiting the directive to launch.

I wish everyone the best and speedy interview dates.

I do hope everyone is prepared.

My wife can not get access to her prior vaccination records and would rather take them anew.

Brazil is our country portal, so may I ask if any members from Brazil here know exactly what

vaccines are required for adults over age 30 in the Rio De Janeiro Consulate??

DTP/DTaP/DT/Td/Tdap YES, if 7 years and older older (for Td)

Polio (IPV/OPV) YES

Measles, Mumps,and Rubella YES, if born in 1957 or later NO, if born before 1957

Rotavirus NO

Hib NO

Hepatitis A NO

Hepatitis B NO

Meningococcal(MCV4) NO

Varicella NOUnless no exposure to Chicken pox

Pneumococcal NO

Influenza NO, unless flu season

I've received four e-mails from NVC now.

Two from NVCElectronic received on April 26. One regarding my OPTIN e-mail, but I don't believe it's the confirmation e-mail. Another confirming that my DS-261 has been submitted.

Two from NVCInquiry received around 5:00 this evening. Both of these had a pdf file attached with letters in a green font. First one provided identification numbers (which I thankfully already had been given when I got my case number from J.R. at NVC). The second one saying to pay the AOS bill. The bill isn't invoiced yet in the payment portal. Maybe tomorrow it will be there.

Overall, I'm thinking these are all good things. LOL

Hello everyone, today I received IV fee bill w/ a cover sheet w/ barcode stating that I must use this cover sheet when i physically submit forms and/or supporting docs to the NVC. My bill hasn't posted yet so it I haven't been able to pay but does this mean I can go ahead and send my docs now?? Thanks for any help on this I'm pulling out my hair!!!

All this immunization and vaccination record talk has me thinking. Is it too early for me to go see my family doctor to get any vaccinations I might need? I can't find my vaccination records so will have her do those titer tests and get whatever I need. I have the immunization requirements sheet from Dr. Seiden's site (plus all the great info that Sheeshkabelle has been providing) to give to my doctor. So, is it a good idea to go get this done now or should I wait until, say, I at least get a "case complete"?

BTW, I don't see anything about a polio vaccination on the Dr. Seiden immunization requirements, but I did see it in that table you shared, Sheeshkabelle.

Thanks a lot Sheeshkabelle, glad to be here and this is what I needed; also are they still requiring the DS 2001 forms to be submitted before an interview is scheduled?

I read this on the DOS website; yet NVC is issuing the interview dates for Brazil.......what gives here ?

Actually, there's a Tetanus/Diptheria/pertussis vaccine that also comes combined with inactivated polio. It's called Quadricel, and it's what they ended up giving me today actually. So...if you specify Quadricel you should be good
