There is nothing else to do - if you want the visa, the doctor (or a female nurse, which you should be able to ask for) has to peek. It's part of the medical, and they won't overlook it.

WOW! I didn't now that the medicals were done differently depending on where you live! I did not have to remove any clothing what so ever, and neither did my son! :wacko:

Maybe because you were pregnant, obviously female, and an exception to the rule. They never make kids strip down.

It's part of the panel physician physical for all immigrants. Maybe some do it and some don't, but you're the first person I've ever heard of NOT having it.

I had a female doctor for my medical and she explained that I would have to remove my lower clothing so she could look and i could have a gown if I wanted. After all the questions, I laid down on the couch, dropped my jeans and underwear she looked and that was it. (She was standing, just a quick look.) I'd be surprised if a male doctor did that without a female in the room but as it is just a quick look maybe.

Do you know in other countries they do that? I don't think so.I've never heard of it happen in anywhere.In Bangladesh they never do that for USA Immigration.

Hmmm.Than its fine.Im more worried about my husband coz he doesn't like this concept.

It's not optional, and I know being Muslim you have an issue with it. All it is a quick peek to verify you are indeed a woman as you claim to be. There's no touching involved.

And a male doctor would NEVER check out your lady bits with out a female nurse present and would NEVER say having the female nurse look in his place isn't an option. It's asking for him to have his boy bits sued off.

OK, I woke up today late, long story, I lost my job on Friday, Things are not going well with the wife either, life seems to be at its lowest point right now. But today I guess there was some positivity. I got an email back after my NVC inquiry. They sent me the AOS Invoice and the choice of agent form. I was happy to finally receive my NVC case number. I first sent the opt in email for the electronic processing. Next I paid the AOS fee. I then printed out my AOS Document coversheet and was now going to email my AOS package. But I remember I should wait for the opt in email to be accepted first? I did receive the auto response. I then went to the forms portal and filled out the Choice of Agent form. What is the next step, wait for EP to be accepted? Everything is happening at once!

Thanks guys. I hope it is smooth journey from here. I just hope that this gets done with. I really don't want to write a post in the effects of major family changes forum. Please pray for me.

No send it right away.You dont have to wait for any email.DS 3032 has nothing to do with AOS package. when you will Ds 3032 acceptance email your Iv bill will be genarate within few days. NOw send AOS package ASAP.

Recently I haven't called nvc n things have gone perfectly. I think the last time I called was when I got my case number, I feel like if I call now I'd jinks myself. After nvc gets all ur payment n ur last packet how long does it take for case complete? I leave in 2weeks n a few days for vacation n don't want to drag along all my docs, do u guys think in the next 2 and a half weeks I'd get a case complete. its not that I'm trying to rush but if I don't get a case complete I'm walking with every thing I have that they might need. I can see myself now on the beaches relaxing with a drink n nvc emails my phone, I'd run so quick ud think it abmatter of life or death lolll. Maybe I'm thinking too much.

The day is here. Will be leaving in an hour for my interview. There's a strange calmness in me. Hope to give you all the good news soon.

Recently I haven't called nvc n things have gone perfectly. I think the last time I called was when I got my case number, I feel like if I call now I'd jinks myself. After nvc gets all ur payment n ur last packet how long does it take for case complete? I leave in 2weeks n a few days for vacation n don't want to drag along all my docs, do u guys think in the next 2 and a half weeks I'd get a case complete. its not that I'm trying to rush but if I don't get a case complete I'm walking with every thing I have that they might need. I can see myself now on the beaches relaxing with a drink n nvc emails my phone, I'd run so quick ud think it abmatter of life or death lolll. Maybe I'm thinking too much.

My case was complete within 3 days of NVC receiving my IV packet. I figure 5 days is a safe ballpark. What documents do you think you're gonna need when you go on vacation? Once your case is complete it's really a matter of your interview being scheduled... unless I'm missing something...

...and the wait for the NVC bill to be payable continues. :whistle: Just got off the phone with NVC and Jim confirmed that they did receive my DS-261 "a few days ago, but it hasn't been entered into the system yet." Ummm...it was submitted electronically through the online forms portal. What needs to be entered? :wacko: I wish I understood the process behind the scenes better, because this doesn't make any sense to me. :bonk: Maybe tomorrow it will be there...
