One quick question : Who give you your POE ( port of Entry )? My wife lives in NJ 15 minutes from the Newark Liberty airport ( EWR), SO will my POE be Newark Airport?

Thanks for the reply, did you get an email stating they reviewed your case? I called last night and they said they hadn't processed my case yet. Is it possible to scan your passport photos and save some time? Good luck to you, hope you get stuff worked out soon!

We got the email with the check list yesterday morning like 1/2 hour after i called. I will scan the passport photos in when i get them in the mail, which by the tarcking number should be tomorrow.

Hello Guys,

A quick opinion:

Should I send the packages together? the AOS and IV package or its ok to send it separately?

I wanna get some time cos my NOA 2 got to us very fast, much more than we expected

so I just wanted to make sure its ok to send one and then get it received and then send the other....

The only difference between sending together or separately its time? or it might get lost in the track of my process?

Before sending the packages,

1- NVC has to receive your case from USCIS

2- You will need to wait for almost 20 business days to be assigned a case number in other for NVC to start processing with( IV and AOS ) their fee must be invoiced and paid on the Portal before mailing out to NVC. Are your AOS and IV documents ready?

If I'm not mistaken that is totally up to you.

Newarks gonna be our POE also :thumbs: We live closer to philly airport but at EWR my husband will get a non stop flight, less stress on him.

If you are on a connecting flight the FIRST US AIRPORT YOU LAND AT is your POE.

For example: If my husband leaves Trinidad and flys to Florida to catch a connecting flight to Newark (his finial destination) then the Florida airport will be his POE.

I never received an email but called this morning after your reply(last night they said they hadn't received it yet) and I was missing a Packet 3 supplemental information sheet for Guangzhou. A little frustrating since I specifically had the lawyer double-check the documentation.

Thanks! AOS fee is "in process" now. But I'd like to clarify some points.

1. We only pay once for both mine and my daughter's AOS fee, right? But we have separate barcoded cover pages?

2. We send in a complete package for each of us - petitioner's i-864(w) and supporting docs, and co-sponsor's i-864 and supporting docs?

3. My husband should fill out an i-864W for our daughter, right? She's his biological child but my husband isn't qualified to pass on citizenship.

Just want to be 100x sure.. :D
