When's your interview?

Thanks! Very excited, feels like I've been working on this forever. We've been assigned May 23, that's much earlier than I had even hoped.

I should add congratulations to you, too! With the time zone difference our interviews might be just about the same time!

strange, whenever i received the attachment that was all green, there was a bill for me to pay... not the black-typed attachments that preceded each (both AOS and IV)...

Just to add my two cents to this, whenever they send billing info to me and my wife, I always get documents with the green as the petitioner, her copy is all black, but the contents is always the same for both. Could this be the difference?

Nice! That's the day after ours. I seem to remember Darnell mentioning a document intake day at some time immediately surrounding the interview for GUZ applicants. Did they tell you about this?

I am so excited, i just got an email that my AOS bill is ready to be paid... wow... we just sent the DS-3032 on Friday night, wow this must be a record :dance: :dance:

I got mine too but I don't think the ds3032 has anything to do with the Aos bill. U should log on and see if there is a bill.

The letter doesn't mention it but on the forum and also on Guangzhou's website it says the appointment date in the letter is for document intake, then the actual interview is the next day. I'll take it. Thanks for the heads up.

I got my bill invoiced as well i logged on the site to pay it but it said i cant pay it yet, most likely its not ready yet, tomorrow for sure! so excited about paying lol

My black and green copies were addressed to both me and the hubby both times, so i don't think that's it...

Hello my fellow members,

I think I will join you all here now as NVC has finally received my case today.

16 days to receive it, now hoping for a speedy case number assignment as I have

all required documents in the launch pad awaiting the directive to launch.

I wish everyone the best and speedy interview dates.

I do hope everyone is prepared.

My wife can not get access to her prior vaccination records and would rather take them anew.

Brazil is our country portal, so may I ask if any members from Brazil here know exactly what

vaccines are required for adults over age 30 in the Rio De Janeiro Consulate??

The AOS bill is generally invoiced a day or two after receiving your case number from the NVC. The IV Bill is invoiced a day or two after the NVC processes the DS-3032 Choice of Agent.

I also called up Dr. S. in Kingsport, who is a US immigration civil surgeon. He even said the nurse Shell talked to is on crack... well didn't excatly say 'on crack' but he chuckled and said "some people are not clear on some things" No doctor will throw another under the bus..but I took it as he implied she was on crack

.That nurse is stupid.

Whew! Interview date assigned! Never got confirmation that NVC was complete, but today received an email with interview information dated from the 26th. Interview is only about 3 weeks from now, great stuff. NVC took about 20 days total, including checklist on AOS, roughly 15 business days.

AOS and IV are two separate paths and separate agents dealing with them at NVC.

AOS is invoiced after they get everything gathered together and send the invoice. IV isn't invoiced until the choice of agent form is accepted. One has nothing to do with the other.

Now that your DS-3032 is accepted it will be a few days until you get the IV invoice.

this is so strange, i got the email that my DS-3032 choice of agent was accepted and then i also got another email stating: that i need to pay my affidavit of support 88.00 (the second email was allll green) thats why i am so amazed that its ready so fast. But i went on the site to pay, and of course the bill is not there yet...

I'm officially losing my mind! This process has burned out my brain cells... We have RBC bank with accounts in Canada and the US, they are linked so we can transfer money between them. This is a conversation Mr. Sheeshka and I had this evening.

me, "I'll transfer money from the US account into the Canadian account before I leave. And deposit the US cash I'll have on me when I get there"

Him, "Why, keep your cash, US dollar is higher right now."

me, "So i have money while I'm there"

Him, "Uhm, why are you transfering money you'll just have to transfer back in a month to pay the bills at the house in Tennessee?"

Me, "ugh listen to me, I have to have money while in Winnipeg. I don't want to use the US debit card in Canada, we'll get stupid fees. I can transfer it"

Him, "Uh... why don't I just deposit some Canadian money into your magical Canadian bank account that money just randomly shows up in it every month? And you keep the US money in the US account, so we don't pay the 'stupid fees'"He really did air quotes.

Me, "ohhh... yaaaa, that does make more sense... see this is why I keep you around"

Him, "And I keep you around so I don't have to do paperwork or call my parents every week. It works out well."

AOS invoice is generated when NVC has your case file all nice and neat and they way they want it.

IV invoice is after the choice of agent form. So you should be getting that soon too!

I paid both our invoices with in days of each other, it's just the way it worked out.
