I called NVC and the rep told me my Visa file was sent by courier on Friday. That's how I tracked it. I will call DoS tomorrow or Wed. and find out if it arrived in Montreal. The DHL site says it's in Montreal with a courier for delivery when I checked a minute ago. :thumbs:

Yeah, by tomorrow or Wednesday, it should be in the system and a DOS operator should confirm your case is in Montreal.

You re-scheduled your interview, remember. It probably was delayed getting it out the door a day or so. Don't worry, I'm sure yours will get there soon!

I also mess up mith my case complete date by sending them too many response of a same checklist and they delay my original case complete date

I'm probably being paranoid. Every document we have sent to USCIS and NVC we have in duplicate, plus originals, but I just zipped our packages and emailed them to hubby with IN CASE OF EMERGENCY PRINT ME in the subject line lol.

Man, it would suck to lose everything.

Thats a good thing of keeping copy of everything.

Do we need to copy our passport as well?

No re-scheduling has nothing to do with NVC coz its CSC's business.

One quick queestion... I have some copies of my wife I-130 and G-325A (Not signed ), I-864 ( for my wife not signed, for co sponsor signed ). I am taking them with me to the interview, will have i to submit them to the person responsible to take our documents to the CO or i can keep them and only submit what are needed in the interview ( Letter of Appointment, Letter of employment for both petitionner and Co sponsor, Tax return transcript of 2009,2010,2011 of both petitionner and Co sponsor, Pics ?)

Thats a good thing of keeping copy of everything.

Do we need to copy our passport as well?

You should ALWAYS make a copy of your passport, birth certificate and ID, and keep it in a safe place, immigrating or not. It helps if you ever have your passport lost or stolen.

We have three copies of EVERYTHING and I scanned what wasn't already on my PC into a folder. I sent four emails one for USCIS, one for IV package, one for AOS package and one for my evidence of going back to the US after visiting Canada.

The hard copies are going in my carry on, each one in a separate, color coded, plastic folder. I can always buy new undies if they lose my luggage, but I can't replace our documents!

Yeah, I'm getting pretty excited myself!

What I did for all our documents was buy a plastic accordion type folder and labeled the separate file folders. I can put all our documents in their own little folder, that way when they ask for something I can pull it right out, with out shuffling through a bunch of papers.

Yeah, I'm getting pretty excited myself!

What I did for all our documents was buy a plastic accordion type folder and labeled the separate file folders. I can put all our documents in their own little folder, that way when they ask for something I can pull it right out, with out shuffling through a bunch of papers.

Hum that is great idea, i will do the same too, Thank you for the idea. My I-130 is not signed, will it be a problem?
