Absolutely ! simply check out a wheelchair from the hotel, bring yer own cable bike lock, and revamp yer map for the Poutine Tour (there are two types - one for the STM train, another for walking within a 2 km radius of the IV unit) .

Woo hoo - my husband is going to love this idea! He's a bottomless pit...oh wait, he'll be pushing me and all the poutine that we don't get through immediately...I hope he brings good walking shoes

OK, since yer husband is showing up with you - get a wheelchair from the hotel (yes, they do have them)

and then have HIM push you to the IV unit - figure 13 minutes push ride. Plan accordingly.

In the meantime - what's the exit plan? Ultimately, you can't jump on the plane till you have passport with visa stamp. Do you know the return policy on the US Embassy / Haiti / IV Unit? How many days? It's important, as someone has to buy a plane ticket on extrememly short notice (which means the ticket is about 600 percent more than if bought 3 months prior) .

I have not booked any flight yet. For haiti it is usually 7 to 10 days that they give you the passport stamped with the visa. Thus as my interview is june 12th, I expect to receive the visa with the passport June 19th or 20th. At interview they tell you when to come get the passport. I will book the flight the next day I receive the passport, june 20 or 21st. There will be a baby shoer for my wife June 23rd I do not want to miss it.

Yeah I've come to hate weekend its like a waste of 2days, come next 3month I will hardly beable to wait for the weekends again. Good luck this week guys...

People I do not understand why I have to bring my wedding pics and other pics of my wife and I at the interview since we sent all of them to USCIS from the beginning of the process. So now my wife realize to extract them from her camera it will cost 174 US dollars. I thought that Uscis sent all ur document to nvc which forward them to the embassy. Why do we have to bring pics again? I think the only new pic I would have from my wife is going to be the pregnancy one. I spent 8 months far from my wife due to the high risk pregnancy and that the doctor don t want her to fly. What can I do people?

I am the sole source of income that is reported on my tax returns,

I just got my wife an ITIN and filed married. The refund came in both our names.

I have the check to show to the Consulate as well as the other financial evidences

I wrote of. You were silent about this.......should I submit to make sure the Consul

has this evidence to consider before the interview?

If you want to send that evidence, you can. Just paperclip it by themselves with a sheet of paper at the front stating what it is (evidence for the consulate). Should be fine.

If you need to catch a 1:30pm flight, make sure you're one of the first people at the consulate! If you arrive late, you can be there all day.

They need ongoing proof. Anything can show that, emails, skype logs. It doesn't have to be pictures.

$174.00? Is she getting them gold plated? You can make prints at wal-mart for .20 a piece. She can hook her camera up to her pc with the USB cable, or download the SD card and email for nothing..

WaLl mart is 0.20 a piece ???? Wow I will have her check. In addition, haiti embassy ask for pics and money transfert receipt. My wife and I, we don t use skype, email to chat. We do that via phone. I will provide 3 last month call records.

As for emailing the pics, will they be taken into account if we print those pics from email?

It's nice to have pictures with you at the interview just as additional evidence to show the interviewer how legit your relationship is. For example at my interview the interviewer asked me where we got engaged I told her where and then showed her pictures from the engagement. She also asked where and why we got married there. I told and also showed her pictures...so as the saying goes a picture says a thousand words.

Data is data, even digitized photos. Surely she can extract to a PC, then email 200 or so to you, then YOU handle it there, locally ?

200 photos at CVS or Walgreens , from a digital feed, is about 45 bucks, when I checked this weekend.

I was looking at my timeline n realise there is a "received instruction package" right before cast complete at nvc, what's in the instruction package?
