About sending packages together or separately, it's completely up to you. Some people send them separately, some don't. The pro about sending them together is that you're only paying for postage once, and there's less chance one of the packages will get lost as they're together. The con is that you might be "wasting time" on sending out the AOS package pronto for NVC to review it. If nothing's wrong with the AOS package, then you wouldn't have wasted time as NVC still needs to review the IV package. But if a checklist is issued for something wrong or missing, then you'll have saved some time compared to sending the packages together. Hope you understand what I'm saying there.

If it were up to me, and I was in your position, I would send the AOS package asap once you can. But this is just my opinion on the subject matter.

For the transcripts, if you filed alone and don't need to show your own income, then W2s aren't needed. If you filed jointly and need to show your own income from the total income on the transcripts, then copies of the W2 are fine.

Thanks for the input Saylin, I will take your advice.

I am the sole source of income that is reported on my tax returns,

I just got my wife an ITIN and filed married. The refund came in both our names.

I have the check to show to the Consulate as well as the other financial evidences

I wrote of. You were silent about this.......should I submit to make sure the Consul

has this evidence to consider before the interview?

OK, since yer husband is showing up with you - get a wheelchair from the hotel (yes, they do have them)

and then have HIM push you to the IV unit - figure 13 minutes push ride. Plan accordingly.

Good Luck !

Wifey's belly is so big that when she at a place, she has everyone attention....lol hum that belly, my belly, come on June, don t make me wait for too long

You have to wait.

In the meantime - what's the exit plan? Ultimately, you can't jump on the plane till you have passport with visa stamp. Do you know the return policy on the US Embassy / Haiti / IV Unit? How many days? It's important, as someone has to buy a plane ticket on extrememly short notice (which means the ticket is about 600 percent more than if bought 3 months prior) .

Seriously - what's the exit plan?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yup Yup - there's a really nice signpost right outside the entrance, can cable lock the wheelchair right there.

Don't forget - you must return it to the Hotel, Neela - so coach your husband on pushing you back to the Hotel, after the interview is over.

I was worried for a minute you were curious about the exit plan for the baby... I thought I was gonna have to give you an anatomy lesson :P

I KNOW, right?

That's why I have this wonderful disclaimer at the bottom of every post I write here. Please re-read it, seeking clarity ?

I don't believe you, on this one. Get the wheelchair, and quite complaining. Just think, after the interview? Your husband can take you on the Poutine Tour via wheelchair. It'll be fun.

If you choose to push the wheelchair i will re think

Rethinking isn't useful, as there's no action verbs involved . If I push you , however, how in the world are you gonna explain this to your husband? There's a competent wheel chair pusher to be had, and sadly, Mr. Husband, you not posses the skills or inclination.

Nope, sorry, yer on yer own, on this one. If you can't engage with your husband to handle the wheelchair, then add 25 minutes in for your walking time, as it'll take you extra time with yer slow gait.

Good Luck !

I'm healthy - can I still sign up for the wheelchair Poutine Tour? It sounds fun :D

Absolutely ! simply check out a wheelchair from the hotel, bring yer own cable bike lock, and revamp yer map for the Poutine Tour (there are two types - one for the STM train, another for walking within a 2 km radius of the IV unit) .

Hey people how r u? Congratulations to all the progress here! As for me, I am so anxious about the interview now. I do noot know why I'm feeling that way. I can not wait for that day to come.

Everybody is anxious about the interview. I'd be more concerned if you weren't worried.

Aren't we need a ride for going to consulate? Is there any parking available in the consulate or beside the road?

Bu the time you've walked to the car, driven to the Consulate, found somewhere to park, walked ot the consulate, you'd have been quicker walking.

If you choose to push the wheelchair i will re think
