Joining this thread. still depressed.

I have some pills that will fix ya right up

There shall be case numbers assigned this week, DS-3032s accepted, bills invoiced and appearing as PAID, case completes, and interview dates assigned! yes.gif

Speak it Sensi Saylin!!

*insert evil laugh here*

So...since the panel physician's doctor required proof of 3 DTaP vaccines in my life with at least one in last 10 years - just went and got another booster. She did NOT specify anything further. SO, I am printing off her email and clipping it to my vaccination records. Problem solved for the cost of a doc's note. BWA HA HA :P

Very Good. Now relax. You worried a lot like me.Why you took another DTap.Isn't DTaP requires only one dose for adults?I took 1 DTaP.DO i need to take another shot?

Again, that nurse is an idiot. And No Neela, you don't

I'll link the CDC vaccination requirements for a panel physician:

CDC most recent vaccination requirements for panel physicians.

"For example, if the applicant is 35 years of age, then he or she is required to receive tetanus and diphtheria toxoids vaccine (Td) or tetanus and diphtheria toxoids and acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap), MMR, and varicella (if no history of varicella disease). If the applicant had previously received a dose or doses of a required vaccine but had not completed the series, then the next required dose should be administered according to standard ACIP recommendations.

Because completion of the vaccine series often requires several months, immigrant visa applicants are not required to have received all doses of the ACIP-recommended vaccines prior to departure. Rather, they are required to have received at least one dose of each vaccine, and they are encouraged to receive as many additional doses as possible. The panel physician should stress the need for the applicants to complete the series after arrival in the United States. The panel physician must counsel all applicants who do not have a complete series for a vaccine to seek a private physician before or after resettlement in the United States who can assist the applicant in becoming fully vaccinated.

Acceptable vaccination documentation must come from a vaccination record, either a personal vaccination record or a copy of a medical chart with entries made by a physician or other appropriate medical personnel. Only those records of doses of vaccines that include the dates of receipt (month, day, and year) are acceptable. The document must not appear to have been altered, and dates of vaccinations should seem reasonable. Self-reported doses of vaccines without written documentation are not acceptable.

Laboratory evidence of immunity is acceptable for the following diseases: measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, polio, and varicella. The latter is only necessary when a history of varicella disease is questionable.

Acceptable tests for the presence of antibodies are U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved kits, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-certified kits or kits approved by similar agencies outside the United States. In the use of any approved kits, the manufacturer's guidelines or instructions must be followed, including not using a kit when past its expiration date or if not maintained according to the manufacturer's directions. Standard precautions in drawing blood (e.g., use of disposable gloves and sterile needles) and appropriate needle disposal must also be followed."

Table: Requirements for routine vaccination of immigrants examined overseas who are not fully vaccinated or lack documentation. Documentation can include any kind of shot record, even personal records, and blood titers, see above.

18-64 Years

DTP/DTaP/DT

Td/Tdap YES, if 7 years and older older (for Td)

Polio (IPV/OPV) YES

Measles, Mumps, YES, if born in 1957 or later NO, if born before 1957

and Rubella

Rotavirus NO

Hib NO

One more thing... the CDC chart for ADULTS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN IMMUNIZED:

Adult Immunizations

There's your answer Neela.. Adults get 1 dose of TDaP and 1 dose of MMR if they have never been vaccinated. Even if you had, and you don't know, these doses will catch up an un-vaccinated adult.

I think there's 2 separate emails. I had received one email that I thought was my IV bill but then I received another email many days later, with green typing and I knew that that was the bill. When I got the second email my bill had actually been posted.

I sent my IV bill priority mail via USPS. Sent it out Friday morning and it arrived today at NVC by noon.

Hmmmm I got 3 email. The one with the aos fee indicates that I must pay the aos fee n it says $88 to start the processing of the case. The letter is in green.

Timeline

Random question...do we count the days at NVC starting from the day the case arrived or the day we got a case number? Just wondering if my signature is correct :) thanks!

It starts the day you get a case number, technically you're not at NVC officially until the number is assigned. But some put in their signatures the day their cases arrive at NVC. The more in your signature, the more helpful it is to others. All my dates are there, just click on the spoiler buttons. (I had to consolidate)

Hmmmm I got 3 email. The one with the aos fee indicates that I must pay the aos fee n it says $88 to start the processing of the case. The letter is in green.

The green one is the magic one. Usually when you get the green invoice the bill is payable on the payment portal.
