Don't mix the two piles up :P

No no lol...the save pile goes right back into neatly organized folders. Yay type A personality! :thumbs:

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.

04/07/2014 - NOA1 Date

05/07/2014 - Biometrics in Charlotte, NC

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

11/10/2014 - NOA2 in hand.

11/20/2014 - 10 yr GC in hand! :D

By the way, have you looked at these things: http://www.instructables.com/image/F9NOGVEGMVSC111/Vacuum-sealed-bags.jpg ? These things are AMAZING! They really do reduce the amount of space clothes (or other materials) take up.

By the way, have you looked at these things: http://www.instructables.com/image/F9NOGVEGMVSC111/Vacuum-sealed-bags.jpg ? These things are AMAZING! They really do reduce the amount of space clothes (or other materials) take up.

That's an amazing idea! Could space bag all my clothes into a hockey bag along with some other stuff and probably whittle down to ONE bag!!! Woot!!!!!

...omg. Just hit me - how sad is that, all of my stuff in one bag. Lol.

In your case, since you're flying, I think this would be an excellent idea for you ;) You could bring more junk this way :P

In your case, since you're flying, I think this would be an excellent idea for you ;) You could bring more junk this way :P

Thanks for reminding me- I have the Manitoba government photo id card. I'll call westjet and ask if that'll work along with my birth cert. Good call!

We used drivers licenses but I was surprised at how many people used their passports for an internal flight. And i commented to my husband when we were flying home that it was a good thing I hadn't used my passport.

They want government issued photo ID. So your Manitoba ID card will be fine.
