Saylin Nvc start giving interview dates to other countries. What about Canada?im getting impatient. :(

NVC schedules interview dates depending on that country's load. Don't worry about other countries as it doesn't matter whatsoever to your case. Stop being impatient and become EXCITED. As soon as you're feeling good and excited about receiving an interview date, you'll get one ;)

Hello guys,

I have a question, hope you can help me here:

My husband (USC) lives with me in my country abroad. He doesn't need to fill out taxes, cos he was a student/unemployed since 4 yrs ago, and now he still doesn't make enough to return taxes. We gonna have a co-sponsor, but my husband still needs to fill the sponsor forms for me right?

There is any problem that he didn't fill taxes? Should we send any papers stating that?

Thanks in advance,

Pam.

Even if your husband doesn't have any income or anything, he STILL has to file an I-864. It's required of the petitioner.

And he should definitely include a letter stating why he filed no taxes. Explain his situation (living abroad, student/unemployed, etc).

Hey guys, I gone through the immigration dance a during 2010. Now I'm helping my friend through his process. Last night we finished compiling the AOS package. I'm following the same method as I did for my wife's case. Here's what I included and how I ordered them.

• Bar-coded cover sheet

• Cover letter

• Completed and signed I-864EZ

• IRS account transcript for 2011, 2010, and 2009

• IRS tax return transcript for 2011, 2010, and 2009

• Tax return for 2011, including W2 (and any other form like 1999INT if you have that)

• Employment verification letter

• Recent few months’ paystubs

• Copy of petitioner’s passport

• Copy of petitioner US citizenship certification

I put them in the same order listed above. Didn't staple anything. I didn't even use paper clips.

I also put the NVC case number on upper-right hand corner of each page except the bar-coded page and cover-letter page. But cover-letter page has both the USCIS and NVC case number in its content.

Hope this helps. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask. I'll try to log in frequently for the next few weeks. :) Good luck to all of you. Most of you are close to the end. Hang in there. :)

Yea, you don't need the account transcripts at all, and if you have a return transcript for 2011 already, then you don't need to submit the 1040/W2. Also, like Neela said, why do u need the passport copy and US citizenship copy?

Even though you're submitting packages by email, the forms still have to be completed and signed and dated. Since you're in Mexico though, you're required to do online forms (DS-260), thus eliminating the DS-230 from the package, so, in your case, the beneficiary will have nothing to sign in the IV package sent by email.

Just called DOS and guess what i get my interview date.
