No need to apologize, Saylin! You are always a HUGE help and now I know for sure that I don't need anything more than a copy of the joint sponsors proof of citizenship for the interview. It's ALL good!!!

Hubby just paid our AOS bill! One more step complete in this crazy process!

woops have no idea what happened to my last post. This question is for people who had to file ds-260 and sent documents electronically. How long did it take you to get case complete at NVC after getting comfirmation from the NVC that they received your documents?

It takes the same amount of time as non-EP cases: a few days. You should get a CC by the end of this week or early next week.

Joining thread ... NOA2 - 4/26.

Case has not reached NVC yet.

Anyone else with NOA2 within +/- 1 week here? Any updates?

You have about another month before you get a case number assigned. NVC is still working with March NOA2 dates. Check out my spreadsheet (linked in the first post and my signature).

paid my AOS bill today woop woop

Hey guys... question :)

I received my case number today!! yayyy and well I asked for the IIN and they said they didnt have it as yet. So what do I do now?

Sometimes operators are picky about giving out the IIN. I was going to suggest calling again, but you seem to have gotten it already, so :P

Tell him to call USCIS again. Don't just call once and that's it. Call again and again until you get something from them.

thanks,

Last year, the bar-coded cover sheet was only available AFTER the bill appeared as PAID. But sometime at the end of last year, it changed and the cover sheet is available upon paying the bill. It does not change after the bill appears as PAID, so you can print it out now and add it to your package. The same applies to the IV cover sheet.

Actually, at least for both my AOS and IV, before you even get the green-ink email, in the email in black ink, they provide the barcode cover sheet and thats before the bill ever shows up...

For your AOS package, was there any specific way that you assembled it? like stapled the pages, or put your case number on each page?

I like making analysis, i was just reading an Haiti member that Got her Case comple Feb 15th, her interview will be May 11th. I found that on April 10th the Embassy received her case ( april 10th is 1 month before her interview, 2 month After her CC and April 10th is not the second week of April). Thus, by May 10th not MAy 15th as operator keep chanting it, i should be able to know if i will have a June interview and the case will be sent to the embassy 1 month before the June interview ( May something...) . Therefore, they are chances that i have a June interview and probably an early one.

There's another analysis you can use -

and it's at yer portal.

Click the flag under yer name,

then study the left panel. Click on IR-1/CR-1 timlines there, then sort by NOA-2 date column.

You'll get an idea of the trends of those that went before you, of your visa type, of your country.

The Portal is cool.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
