Yes i know it has an end but...the word "patience" is easy to write hard to apply

I`m with you on that one. I find saying "we just gotta be patient" to my husband a lot easier than actually BEING patient!

we are almost there!! Let's hope that the next week or so brings us all (that are waiting) our interview dates!! :thumbs:

Hi lady, when was the last time you called NVC?

Hey Rujby! Hubby and I last called them last week Thursday. As usual I've forgotten the name of the operator I spoke with, but she was LAUGHING that we call them EVERY day. So I told Hubby to lay off for a minute... since they do email the interview date pretty soon after it's scheduled. Meaning, we'll probably just call them once or twice a week now.

There shall be case numbers assigned this week, DS-3032s accepted, bills invoiced and appearing as PAID, case completes, and interview dates assigned! yes.gif

Just want to say that you are awesome for putting together all of this !

So, I just called NVC and learned that my case was received Apr.23. I was expecting to punch in a series of numbers to enter my CIS number per your instructions but once I pressed 1 for english it routed me through to an operator.

A quick question.

1) We're using an immigration lawyer. So, once I get my NVC Case number and IIN number I do not email opt in as the lawyer is already set up ... correct ?

And yeah, NVC removed the AVR about 2 months ago, I think. I need to update my wiki one of these days to reflect that. I've been busy with school and such laughing.gif

As for your question, you still have to optin for EP if you're doing that. The only thing you do NOT do with a lawyer is complete the online DS-261 as your lawyer is automatically designated as agent for the case.

Hi everyone! I made it! NOA2 on april 23, and now just calling NVC EVERY DAY hoping for MNL#and IIN# good luck to everyone!!

Sooo nervous, went over every checklist everywhere I could find to make sure my wife sends ALL of the documents we'll need, so we have eveything ready for NVC!! Just watching for the mailman, and calling NVC! Hurry please!!!!! It's been 6 months since I kissed my snuggle mouse goodbye, and I miss her here desperately!! :D
