4 Weeks for Interview Date! Getting closer and closer. Woohoo! :dance::dance::dance:

So are you nervous??? :) I am!!!! But still WOO HOO! :dance::dance:

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.

04/07/2014 - NOA1 Date

05/07/2014 - Biometrics in Charlotte, NC

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

11/10/2014 - NOA2 in hand.

11/20/2014 - 10 yr GC in hand! :D

Hi all!

Just wanted to add myself to this thread as well and say a massive thank you to Saylin and everyone else on here who have unknowingly helped me through this process! Even just reading other people's frustrations/problems has helped me relax!

I'm trying to stay patient through this backlog at NVC. My husband makes fun of me for calling them at least two or three times a week asking for a case number. Nothing yet!

Saylin, how do I add myself to your spreadsheet?

I'm the one that adds people ;) And you've now been added yes.gif

Hope you get your case number assigned soon. Since you're early April, you should be getting it within the next week or so. I'd suggest you start calling once a day now!

Why would it? The country does NOT matter at the NVC stage, between case number and case complete.

LOL! Actually not nervous yet. I'm more anxious than anything else but patiently waiting for the 24th of May since my wife has to flight to the capital (Bogota) a week prior to her interview to get the Labs and Medical exam done :thumbs:

Citizenship

6/24/2016: Mailed N-400 package via USPS from Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan

7/11/2016: Received NOA1 dated 7/5/2016

11/3/2016: Received email from USCIS-Seoul Office with Naturalization appt set for 11/30/2016

11/30/2016: Naturalization Interview on Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. N-400 Approved

12/1/2016: Naturalization Ceremony

Nope. You can use the tools here on VJ to find that as those time frames will always differ by country.

Anxious is a better way to describe the feeling! How long do the lab results take in Bogota? Does she get to take them home with her?

Trav's been trying to calm me down about all the flying, and it seems to be working (he says "look, do you claim to have any faith that God's getting us through this? If you do - STOP WORRYING! Do you think He'd get us this far just for nothing? Please relax - you WILL be fine, I JUST know. :) "). Doesn't make me feel any better about being in a huge metal tube 30K feet up, but his calmness makes me feel kinda better LOL.

05/08/12: Emailed DS-3032

05/09/12: AOS invoice paid

05/15/12: IV invoice paid

06/07/12: AOS & IV packages sent to NVC

06/18/12: Received checklist! Boo...

06/20/12: Sent checklist response to NVC (they received it on 06/22)

07/02/12: CASE COMPLETE! Yee haw!

07/12/12: Received interview date

09/24/12: Interview (We changed the orginal date due to scheduling conflict)

It's definitely worth it if you call every day and get it from an operator. Could shave off a couple of days.
