Called NVC about my interview today and was told that they are finished scheduling appointments for June. I know this is not true from reading the forum, but hearing that statement kinda made me a little sad :unsure:

Wishing us all luck with NVC... lets see some more progress :) :)

Being from Bosnia (a non-EP country) you wouldn't get a case complete email. But the other member is from Canada and opted in for EP, where case complete emails are sent.

Wahoo...I-130 approved 10 days...how long before I should start harrasing NVC for me case number?

Not sure if anyone has a simiual story but everything was going well until I spoke to a family lawyer regardind my two children that I have from a previous marriage not in my care, but ex wife could make it difficult for us when it comes to visiting then when coming here on holidays or having them come visit us for the holidays...not sure how to advise child support too early as they may red flag me during the visa process? love my boys (11yrs & 15yrs) to death and the inevitable of moving to the US one day is now within a year...Very Confused!!!

Hi Darnell. Called NVC, the operator said my wife's and my son's case already joined up. Don't get a chance to talk with a supervisor. So seems ok, I guess?

in the end, the 'final test' will be what day or days the interviews are scheduled for.

I say call into NVC again, get a supervisor, and ask directly. 'Are the casefiles joined up, or no?'

Case complete! Finally! Now we wait again for interview date...

i just got my appoval for 130 what next pls

get on a pc or laptop,

then read all of the content from all of the click throughs from all of the urls/links posted in post #1 of this topic.

Take about 4 days, using pen and paper, making copious notes.

Called he NVC when I finally got home from work tonight, Montreal flooded this afternoon about a half hour before I was supposed to finish, and Case Complete!

Actually it was complete on the 18th and I have yet to receive an email!

Plus side, It won't feel so long waiting for an interview date since I've already been waiting for 11 days.

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

Grats on your fast NOA2! I'm assuming the petition is abroad to get approved so quickly?

And since it's taking around 4+ weeks to get a case number, I'd suggest calling once or twice a week starting next week. Once you hit the third or fourth week, start calling every day.

And unfortunately, I have no advice for the children thing. As long as you're not taking the children to immigrate with the beneficiary, you should be fine. And contacting child support will have NO bearing on the visa process.

Case complete emails are ONLY sent out to those doing EP. So, for you, you can only find out through calling an operator at NVC. Have you been calling daily to see if there's any updates on your case?
