Getting extremely frustrated waiting for NVC to release our freakin' IV bill so we can pay it. Extremely frustrated with the ridiculous, annoying and scripted responses to my inquiries from the NVC reps. We're so close to completing our case and not being able to pay this bill is holding everything up. I can hardly wait until I am done having to deal with them. Bunch of jerks... :angry:

10/07/11 - I-130 Sent
10/09/11 - Delivery Confirmation - Chicago
10/13/11 - NOA1 Confirmation by e-mail & text
10/17/11 - NOA1 Hard copy received (Priority date October 11)
03/23/12 - NOA2 (e-mail notification on 3/23, Hard copy received on 3/30)
NVC: (48 days)
04/16/12 - Case arrived at NVC
04/25/12 - Received case #, IIN, and BIN, gave e-mail addresses, sent optin e-mail

Hmm, it's been quite awhile for you for the IV bill. Have you talked to a supervisor yet about this? You should have gotten your IV bill a long time ago...

Finally, Just called NVC to find out that our case has been completed today. :)

CONGRATS!!! :dancing:

I just got off the phone with my wife, her interview was simple 2hours & 30 minutes. The end results was......................

Hmm, it's been quite awhile for you for the IV bill. Have you talked to a supervisor yet about this? You should have gotten your IV bill a long time ago...

I agree, Saylin! I haven't spoken to a Supervisor. Do I just ask to speak to one after I get through and have given my case #, etc. to the rep who answers? Talking to most of them is like banging your head against a wall. :bonk:

Yup, as soon as you get through to an operator, just ask for a supervisor. Be persistent if they start telling you they're capable of answering your question or some other ####### about not transferring you.

WOW lots to read.. Im going on vacation and just been busy trying to clean the house from top to bottom before we leave, ud swear the President is comming over for lunch lolll. Been so busy NVC hasn't been on my mind, I called last night at 8pm and they had no date for me. They told me to call back the 2nd week of June thats when they might have one, I know thats not true. I will call them back on Friday before I leave im hoping they can tell me something positive by then cus i cant call them for one week once I leave.

1) Should I put the 2 passport photos in a zip lock plastic bag?

2) Should the cover letter be placed on top of everything, including the bar-coded sheet?

3) Should I even include a cover letter?

1. Yes, put the pictures in a bag, and staple the bag to a white piece of paper.

2. No, the bar-coded cover sheet is placed on top of everything else.

3. I always suggest a cover letter (placed beneath the bar-coded cover sheet) as it helps to show what's included in the package.

That is all up to you :)

I'd definitely suggest getting at least a tracking number so you can track your package!

My wife mailed all our document via USPS and made it Express Mail. It usually take one day to arrive at NVC depending on the state you are living in. My wife lives in NJ. When she mail the document express Mail, NVC receives them the next day before noon

3/30/2012-------- Case Complete ( Thank you Lord )

Medical / Consulate / POE

5/11/2012-------- Medical Exam

6/12/2012-------- Interview date / APPROVED

6/21/2012 -------- POE Newark, NJ
