Hello all my fellow members,

I hope all received good news today or had some sort of movement

in their case.

Today was great for us.

I-864 AOS delivered today.

IV fee status now shows "Paid".

I timed it perfect when I sent out her IV package. It will arrive tomorrow,

but they are closed, so Monday they will receive it.

Perfect. Hoping to get a "Case Closed" next week.

Next week.......? Think so guys.......?

Have a great weekend everyone and may next week bring interview dates, AOS fee invoices,

IV fee invoices, case numbers and arrivals. .

Quite possible that you'll get a case complete next week if both packages are accepted.

Hello all, Congrats to everyone.

I sent my IV package in on Sunday and my AOS checklist on Wednesday, called NVC last night to see if they had everything and spoke to Gus, who was super nice and told me the standard 'give them 20 days. . .' I really don't want to call every day, that music is awful! So I'll call again Wednesday. I'm really hoping for a late-June early-July interview - what are my chances?

If everything gets accepted next week with a case complete, your interview will likely be in July sometime.

Nope, that is a big, fat LIE!!!

If you want proof, look at my own signature. My interview was assigned on the 25th. Last time I checked, that is NOT in the second week :P

What kind of record of immunizations is acceptable for the interview?

why, the one that the panel physican (or his/her admin) puts into the medical packet, of course !

This worries me a little. Since I was expedited and my file went to Montreal before I submitted any documents, I wonder if this is going to cause an issue? I hope not, considering they want my originals and copies when I go to pay (and they want me to pay while there)...

ya, you might drop off early in the morning shift,

but get interviewed after lunch whilst someone or a crew of someones reviews all, prior to actual interview.

thank you Saylin.

My Signature can't hold the rest of my process :crying: im trying to cram it togeter but I'm having no luck

try double columns or remove some graphics.

[i never see signatures here, i've turned that off]

Woopee! Interview date of 6/12!!!!

Yeee Harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ! YAR !

See? my cracked crystal ball still works.

I-864/AOS emailed to NVC, waiting IV bill. takes NVC a week or longer to generate IV bill? anyone has any idea?

aiyo.

That ds-3032 you included with the OPT IN email, they have to detach it, add it to the casefile.

Once that's done, yer IV fee bill will show up, same day to 3 days later.

I am not sure what they're going to do. On one hand, the interview scheduling was just like a K-1, and they never have to wait while someone reviews documents (and they already have my DS-260, just not my certificates - hooray EP). However, there was another CR1 expedite from Canada that I read about that had no problems. And yet, who knows...it could all be a big mess. All I know is the speculation has made it so I needed to take a full day from even looking on here. I just want no more headaches with this mess.

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.

05/07/2014 - Biometrics in Charlotte, NC

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

11/20/2014 - 10 yr GC in hand! :D

Emailed DS-3032 for EP, enrolled (case number changed from GUZ********** to GZO**********). Does that mean they accept DS-3032?

it used to,

but these last 6 months, no.

OPT IN happens within same day, doesn't mean squat for the DS-3032 'acceptance'.

You aren't looking for 'acceptance', here - yer looking for it to be DETACHED from the OPT IN email, and added to the casefile.

Wait a bit.

I paid AOS Fee and Emailed AOS documents immediately after I got an OPTIN response from NVC stating "We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and

Agent) form designating an address and agent.". So it does not say 'accepted' or 'rejected' (maybe another email in coming days stating accepted/rejected?). Am I moving too fast, will that create additional issues?

no, as long as you OPTED IN after the AOS Fee Bill was in yer email inbox, you should be fine on the 'process'

again, for EP to GUZ IV, you have to wait till the DS-3032 is detached from the OPT IN Email and added to the casefile.

Once that's done, the IV fee bill is triggered.

Hi everyone! We got our NOA2 May 2, 2012 & when my hubby called NVC yesterday (May 17, 2012) they said they already received my case but they haven't received our son's case yet. They gave my hubby an invoice# which is an 8 digit number (is this my case number????)...they got our email address & was advised to wait for 15-20 days for the next steps through email... Can I email DS3032 using the invoice# given to my hubby??? so clueless on the next steps...i hope you guys could help us...Thanks in advance... (F)

does that # start with MNL ?

if not, that's the Invoice Identification Number (IIN) .

your husband needs NVC/Consulate case # and the IIN to be able to log in and pay fees online.

check post #1, reread all of the content in the links there.

Hello Guys!

Im in doubt about the taxes returns:

My co-sponsor, my father in law, he doesn't want to order the transcripts from IRS cos he already have the taxes returns at his house.

I know that if you submit the 1040 forms you will need to send the W2s too, I told him that, but not sure if its enough?

I've read that sometimes NVC ask for attachments and schedules with the 1040 forms, but this things are the W2s? or not?

Im soooo afraid to get a RFE because of that, cos my husband and my we live abroad, very far away from him, so he is gonna do this part by himself...

Who sent the 1040 forms plz, give some help here...

Thanks a lot!

it's not just 'the form', with a 1040. Usually, if one uses a 1040, there's other forms, schedules, and attachments, that make up the entire tax return. Figure 4 to 140 pages, for each year. a 1040 and a w-2 is only part of it.

Getting IRS tax transcripts is dead easy.

Or just holding you for ransom... I don't know what we'd demand yet.. I'll have to think on that one...

Crazy Canadians going camping when it's supposed to snow.....

I am doing EP, GuangZhou Embassy, China. I know I should email NVC bona fide document. I am wondering, should I also email NVC all the other documents I ever sent to USCIS at I-130 stage? Like "G-325A, Biographic Information", my "certificate of naturalization", etc?

The reason I am asking this is that, I assume NVC may not send the paper copies to GuangZhou Embassy since it all goes through EP.

Here's the fun bit.

NVC is creating a mondo huge electronic version of everything you've submitted , is called a 'SAFEFILE' record of the casefile. SAFEFILE is the big computer network that NVC uses to send electronic versions of casefiles to the IV units, worldwide. That I-130 is already in there. The stuff you send in via ep gets put in there. At some point, when yer done with NVC, and NVC completes their final review - NVC schedules the interview and PUSHES THE BUTTON for the casefile to show up at the GUZ IV dataset.

It's truly electronic. I swear.

SAFEFILE rocks! Keep feeding it, you've some time.
