APPROVED!!!!! We way over-thought the process, depending on where you are having your interview, if it is anything like Spain, be calm and relaxed, it's a piece of cake. Basically my husband went in, overflowing with pictures and documents. They only care about the tax reports (i sent originally the 2010 because it was before April 17th) if you did the same, make sure that you bring updated tax transcripts. I would bring them anyway, since it seems that is all they care about. They asked him what he will do, he said study, when he told them that we are studying in two different cities until i receive my MBA the guy could care less, he just said that's great, good luck, APPROVED! My husband was in shock, he asked if the guy wanted photos, letters anything, and the guy said no. They did leave him a room for about an hour while they went to get lunch, so that was nerve-wrecking.

Just know this, make sure your file is absolutely complete before it is sent to the embassy and you will have nothing to worry about!!!!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Congratulations!!!!

quick update - joint sponsor recieved the package and will send it out overnight tomorrow (Thursday) so that NVC recieves it Friday.

Do I wait a week to find out what is going on? NVC will recieve both AOS and DS packages by Friday.

Thanks for any advice.

Since the packages are going to be arriving on Friday, start calling on Monday, then everyday afterwards until you hear of your case complete ;)

hello folks,

Sorry guys it been pretty busy for me....Anyway good news, Visa approved and interview was pretty simple and easy for her. She said the questions were around what's your husband's job and how many people were invited to the wedding then Visa approved....I'll get you guys more details when I get a chance.

Thank you folks for your help, specially the Sensei :)

Yay, grats! kicking.gif

Sounds like his interview was like mine, easy. I brought a bunch of proof of relationship, but didn't need it whatsoever. Only asked me two questions and that was it.

The operators will only know a package is in the building is once the review has started on each package. Until then, they won't have any idea.

According to this PDF document here: http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/pdf/2009-ti-vaccination.pdf

It states (on page 7 out of 19):

"Acceptable vaccination documentation must come from a vaccination record, either a personal vaccination record or a copy of a medical chart with entries made by a physician or other appropriate medical personnel. Only those records of doses of vaccines that include the dates of receipt (month, day, and year) are acceptable. The document must not appear to have been altered, and dates of vaccinations should seem reasonable. Self-reported doses of vaccines without written documentation are not acceptable."

I mean passed not approved, after the medical some people said they will tell them if the pass.

Um, I guess he would find out if everything is ok when he picks up the results in 9 days. Maybe they will tell him. Plus he still has to be vaccinated.

Holly cow! 9 days to pick up some medical results?? I am having my wife doing everything in 2 days (that's labs and exam) and 2 days prior to the Interview. I guess it drastically varies depends on the country :wow:

Possibly one of the best pieces of advise. Big Congrats to you on your visa approval. The more meticulous you are putting you're package the better, I would add. This is how I expect our interview to be provided NVC submitted everything to the Embassy. Hooray!!
