Woohoo! We did it! In all we had to wait for like 3 hrs before it was our turn for the interview but the interview itself only took 5 minutes :-D

My husband will send off both AOS packages and both IV packages later today. I do have some doubts about our AOS, but I hope everything goes well!

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

I'm in Calgary. Temps in the mid 20s is great bit weird.

Crazy weather in Calgary... I got here and wondered where the snow was. The rumor is I won't be wondering long, because It'll probably fall this weekend.

The day I got here it was Chinooking and I had a horrendous headache for two days. But now I'm used to thin, dry air and have my lotion and saline spray regimen down. Also getting used to the 'big city' again and remember where and what to avoid during rush hours. It's nice we are in the SW in Shawnessy, if we lived in the core I would probably lose my mind!

I've been stupid busy going through stuff and tossing and what not. I shredded 3 bags full of old documents etc that weren't needed. And found bunches of credit card and bank statements from all our times together over the past seven years. My husband only let me keep them "'Cause we might need them for immigration" We really don't, but I want to keep them anyway :P

Congratulations to case completes, fees paid, packages sent, interviews scheduled and anything else I may have missed since last week!

When you email the documents, do you have to carry the original documents to the interview?

Yes. All original documents have to go to interview with you. They want to see the marriage/birth certificates and they keep the original police certificates, and AOS documents.
