I got the IV bill Invoice yesterday and even that is not showing up. Not sure what's going on. I keep checking every hour but nothing. :(

I called NVC about the AOS fee not showing on the portal, She said she doesn't know why it's not there when it should be to check it tommorow.

Question: how do i know what type of Browser my phone has? I have a HTC Sensation (Android phone)from Tmobile. At work I use internet explorer to check.

Hi Saylin!

Your march NVC thread helped me A LOT!!!

I was reading again everything and I saw about AOS bill, you say that it's 88,00 USD per case? What do you mean?

I'm going through the CR-1 process with two children (stepchildren of my husband - the petitoner) and he had to pay just one AOS bill for the three of us! I wonder if it changed now that the IV fees decreased the value...

Three barcoded coversheets were generated upon payment, and three AOS packages mailed, but just one fee satisfied the three cases.

BTW, I hope that the IV bills were 230,00 USD when my hubby paid them lol

Well, I hope that everyone can have their interview dates scheduled asap, this whole thing feels a lot better after that!!!

Good luck guys!

Glad my March thread helped!

And what happened in relation to the AOS bill is what is supposed to happen. You have one case (you, two children), so it's only one bill of $88 you have to pay. But for the IV, the bill is per person, so you'll have to pay $230 three times.

And they will be $230 each when your husband pays. It is no longer $404.

Good morning, everyone! :) Hoping for good news for all today! Whether it's a case number, being able to pay AOS or IV bills, interview dates, etc., I have my fingers crossed for everyone!

Woke up to find an e-mail from NVC confirming that my case will now be processed EP! Thanks Sheeshkabelle and Saylin for the advice last night. I sent a second OPTIN e-mail last night and that worked!

Called my doctor's office this morning and have an appointment tomorrow morning for the vaccinations/titer tests. :D

Off to pack more boxes...

Awesome, grats! kicking.gif

And yay for a medical appointment. Make sure you keep the records in a safe place this time and don't lose it for the medical :P

Thanks very much Saylin for your help.I'm about to start NVC.

No problem! ^_^

If you have any questions AFTER reading the links/guides and FAQ, feel free to post here :)

Most phones just have a regular, built-in phone browser. It won't be any of the major ones (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc) unless you personally install it yourself. I'd suggest not using a phone to pay the bills though; use an actual computer (laptop or desktop) with IE. This is the safest and easiest way to do it.

Does certain Contries get certian Shot? is there a form will all the vaccinations the Benifi has to get? i think i saw one somewhere on the NVC site, is it there? Whats the "titer test"? I'd love to bug my hubby to get his done on vacation so he'd only have to take time off for the Medical and the interview.

lolll sorry for drowing u with all my questions but they all hit my brain at the same time.

There MIGHT be specific country ones, but I don't think so as everyone in this process is immigrating to the same country (US). You can find the required vaccines here, by age group: http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Immunizations.htm

The titre test is a blood test that will show which antibodies you have in your system, meaning what your body is immune to. If you get the vaccine or get the disease, then your body builds up the antibodies.

Does your husband have a vaccination record at all, or no? Has he taken some of the listed vaccines?

I called DoS today to find out if we have an interview yet... nothing. I usually don't let these drones on the other end of the phone get to me too much, but the chick today REALLY got my goat.

I asked how much of a notice to people usually get so travel plans can be made. Canada is a really big country and we are on the opposite side from Quebec.

Then I hung up. :crying:

Well Lisa at NVC was at least nice, and knew what she was talking about!

"Your case was complete on April 9th. There still has not been an interview scheduled. Wow that's a long time"

"Yeah, tell me about it"

"You should hear something in the next week or so. Montreal must have been really booked up for May."

"Can you give me some kind of estimate on how long of a notice a person usually gets from Montreal so plans can be made?"

"In my experience, it seems Montreal usually gives about a three week notice at the very least for appointments. They may be waiting for your anniversary date to get closer so an IR-1 Visa can be issued. But that's just speculation on my part."

"Thanks Lisa, you're a gem."

"You're welcome, is there anything else I can help you with?"
