I'm 5' 5.5" (just discovered I'm not 5'6" like I believed I was for the past 20 or so years lol) and my husband is 6'1".

That's OK. I'm actually 5'3" and 3/4".. I figure since I'm 1/4" shorter than 5'4" I can just say I am.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

More shocking for me is that I'm 20lbs more than hubster! I'm trying to get under his weight! Last month some of my brothers & their spouses came over to moms house. The guys were playing basketball then my brothers & Adam thought it would be cool to try to see who was strong enough to hold me... Like carry me in their arms! I was yelling, laughing & crying at the same time it was so hilarious. I have got to get this weight off!

Your'e a trooper going there with the weight....hahaha I was contemplating on my 5.7 height not being model tall and embarrassed not to post it...

he is taller but I cant remember it in cm right now.

I do know he has a thing of being proud to lift me and does it more often because.... It bugs me, I am not dainty in body weight :innocent: .

Tany you are so petite!!! :)

I'm 5'4" and Hassan is 6'0"..

This question was asked over in Facebook in our group of women married to Egyptian men & I was surprised at how many women & men were over 6ft tall.

I'm 5'6 and Adam is 5'9.

And for those women that may be taller then ur hubby does it bother him? And for those much shorter than hubby do you wear high heels to be close in height?

I always thought petite referred to height not actual size/weight. They have petite plus size clothing. 5'5" is petite?

No debate, just wondering because I really thought petite referred to height or maybe just in the clothing world? And would this really be the most ridiculous thing ever to be debated in MENA? :D

Hmmm most ridiculous thing ever debated in MENA... that's a tough one...

But some good contenders would be the "Lonely Wives & Their Sex Toys" debate or "Planning for My Honeymoon... Is Teh Butt Secks Halal" discussion...
