Hi,

I am going to apply for an Australian police check.

However, is it okay with name check only?

Or I must have a name check and a fingerprint record search?

Because Australian police check is not fingerprint base.

Which means we usually apply for a name checked police check for migration or employment use.

I don't know why you posted this in the Philippine forum :S

Yes fingerprints and name and I don't know where you got your info that Australian Police cert's are not "fingerprint base" but it's wrong. They are of course fingerprint checks.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
