VERY PRETTY

as with succulents i have orchids too.

Pics or it didn't happen !

I have been reading up on succulents. Apparently, some of them like conditions very similar to orchid culture - including a dry, cool period in the winter. I plan to get me some - which can then spend the winter with my orchids in a cool bright room.

He doesn't want any more plants, so I have to figure out how to hide them. :P

LOL hide them under/behind other plants.

I'm trying! We'll see how we can get this worked out. Sigh.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

That is gorgeous, inluvn !!!! 2 of mine that are in bloom are very much like it, only the flowers are more of a fuschia color than yours.

I was just out in the garden... look what I found visiting the jatropha -- a zebra longwing

It only seemed to want the jatropha - I watched while it scouted around and inspected a lot of other blooming things, but it returned over and over to that one plant. I just looked it up... it supposedly likes lantana, pentas, hibiscus and passionflower, which are in abundance in and around the patio - but it did not seem to be dining from those plants.

Peaches ?? Awesome !! San Antonio is a bit too hot, but they will grow for us Texans very well a bit north-northwest of here, up in the Hill Country (as close as about 30-45 miles away.) The old German towns of Fredericksburg and Stonewall are famous for their peaches and they are ready now.

Yes that butterfly was a big one - I bet its wingspan was 5-6 inches. They fly real slow, too... lol it's like a B-1 bomber.

So now all you creative types... I think my next garden project is going to be.....

Hypertufa.

Anyone here ever worked with this stuff before ?

I personally have never done this but it looks very creative and can be made into so many forms. If you do make some...please share.

Here are a few of the peaches..It is a a young tree but I am grateful the fruit stayed this season...

last season it got some curly leaf disease and they all fell while still green and small.

Those look gorgeous, inluvn !!! You are in Southern Cali, right ? I think your climate is slightly more tropical than ours (no winter freeze or only rarely there ?)
