Well, I am planning on going to turkey during the summer for 3 months, and my father is going to be my co sponsor for this visa.I am scared that i cant get the most recent paystubs, I will have the most recent I can get so, before I go to turkey. I am hoping he gets his interview when I am over there, if he does can I go with him?? And about the paystubs, will that be fine, and what if my dad signs it early will that be okay. this visa process makes me really scared I want to do everything right.

Signing 2-3 months in advance should be ok. Your dad can always try to send updated paystubs and a I=134 to you via Fedex if you want to be really up-to-date.

but its so expensive. and since i wont be working i need the extra money. international sending is super expensive and so is trying to bring him over here and live. since i got to move out of my families house and everything. everything is going by so fast, but i cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him. TOGETHER. so should it be okay then. I can write a letter saying why i dont have the most recent ones, can he fax them to me will that be okay or do they need original?

I think a lot will depend on how long the time difference between signing and interview actually is: 6 weeks no problems. 3 months, maybe problem. 6 months, definitely problem.

You need the original I-134 with signature. Faxed paystubs should be ok, especially if you have some original ones which look exactly the same to show.

The good news is that even if they think too much time has passed, they will not deny the visa because of this. They will simply give your fiance a letter explaining they want more info, and he can return once your dad has fedexed said info over. Of course, depending on the embassy, he may need to wait for another appointment which can add anything from a week to several months to your timeline.

So rather than spend $40 or $50 to make sure you have the best possible evidence you will risk an RFE and the accompanying delay? You are not budgeting properly if the small amounts are road blocks.

A scanned and emailed copy would be better (and less expensive) than a faxed copy.

A letter with an excuse will not help your finance in the interview. Why have him possibly get stressed over something that is entirely preventable?

if my dad has to send them then he has to. i was just trying to see if there was alternative ways so save some money. you shouldn't talk about my budgeting when you don't know the whole situation. its like i am young unlike most people who do this process, i will bring him here later i will move out, so i have to try to budget everything in and saving that 50$ would come in handy. if you understand. i havent done any kind of visa or anything so i am new to all of this, and i just want some guidance to get through this, from people who have already been in my position.

My advice on the paperwork is take your time. Go over everything with a fine tooth comb. Because an RFE can delay you 2-3 months. I've seen it before. There is a flat fee envelope that takes about 2 weeks with the US postal service that I have used all the time to send packages to Turkey. Have your dad send it 3-4 weeks before you need it, and you'll be fine. Cost is $15 I believe. It's even trackable. Just don't try to hurry to get him here. Better to do it right then get roadblocked and have problems at interview. Those problems at interview can follow you through the whole rest of the process.

PM me if you ever need anything. Turkey can be tricky, but if done right will go smoothly. Take care!

I'm sorry you're having to go there during a difficult period. But he is lucky he gets to have you with him. While you're there, take the time to learn the language. Because it's such a special thing to be able to communicate with his family. It's a show of respect and so nice to actually share and learn about the man you're marrying. I'm learning slowly, but it helps. I wish I could have had the time there to learn. Now we mostly speak english.
