Hello, my name is Hedieh (pronounced Hediyeh), and I am from San Diego, California. I met my husband, from Sydney, Australia, in August 2007 on the Tori Amos forum (another online community :)). We met in person on Feb 14th 2008 and thus began a long distance relationship for a year and a half. We travelled back and forth between the US and Australia, until he moved to the US in July 2009 and we got married October 24th 2009. My husband receieved his conditional green card in April 2010 and we are now in the process of removing the conditional status on his green card. Our paperwork was submitted in January, the biometrics were completed in February and now we are waiting for the permanent green card.

I have read several threads from this board and it seems to be a very welcoming and supportive community. So, I decided to join and go through the waiting game with so many of you who are going through the same process.
