Hi All,

I'm having my POE at Toronto's Pearson next weekend.

Just wondering how much time I should arrive before my flight?

Anyone POEd there?

It really depends there and they don't really care when your flight is, they make you wait.

I'd give yourself 4 hours at least, but it will probably take less. When I POE'd there almost 3 years ago, it took almost 2 hours.

The couple of times I've had to go into secondary using my AP and now my ROC extension, it's taken around an hour just waiting for them to see me.

I POE'd at pearson at 6am and it took about 20 minutes. Immigration at pearson opens at 5:30am, I believe. If your flight is later in the day I suggest you give yourself a big window. 4 hrs sounds good.

I POE'd June 2011 and it took 15 minutes. But it depends which day you are travelling at what time. You can read Pearson POE reviews HERE.

My Flight is Saturday @ 12:50 PM.

I was going to get there around 9:45 AM but not sure if I should allow more time.

I'm flying from Terminal 3, I'm thinking it may be less busy there??

Less busy is definitely early in the morning when there is no backed up queue yet. Better having more time to kill than miss your next flight.

Dang! I can't believe 3 hours was "cutting it close"! I'm POEing there tomorrow - flight is at 3:15 and I was thinking of showing up at 1pm...might have to rethink that plan, haha.

If it's in the middle of the day it's probably best to show up a lot earlier. This is one flight you don't to miss! :P

I'd say 4 hours is a safe bet. It may end up that you get through in 20 minutes, but what if you don't and then miss the flight? I'd rather be early and not have to deal with the hassle of missing a flight!

I think my flight was around 2 p.m. on a Saturday and while it wasn't that busy when I was there it was SLOW. And, I think it was right around a break time or something because they had like 1 or 2 officers processing people and there was like 10 people so it took awhile.
