The bolded part is incorrect. It does not vary. The fee is $240. It just went down from $350 on April 13th.

I-129F filing fee: $340

Visa processing fee: $240

Adjustment of status: $1070

Removal of conditions: $590

Naturalization: $680

Total cost from petition to becoming a citizen is $2920 ($2240 to 10 year green card permanent residence status)

Don't forget the medical fee! Which varies by country I think.

Yes, those are JUST the immigration form/filing fees. There are lots of other fees to deal with as well. The medical, mailing of documents, hotel stays, plane tickets, etc.

Do you mean big ceremony? You have to be married within 90 days of his arrival to POE for the K-1 visa. If you want to do something small at first then have a big ceremony/party later, that's fine. But you can't wait more than the 90 days to get married or else he will be out of status. There are no extensions for a K-1.

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

Initially filed for K1 visa - Feb 23 2012

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we've abandoned this application

We married on Aug 24, 2013 in a small ceremony in MA

We'll be applying for a CR1 / IR1 visa as soon as we are able
