So we are spending 10 days together in june and will have plenty of proof of trip, however to be sure i was going to starting printing out our skype conversations every sunday for the week. First 4 weeks combined is well over 500 pages---what proof should be suffient--and please dont tell me 20000 printed pages of skype---thanks in advance!

For filing petition, you only need to provide your proof of having met in the past two years prior to filing, provide whatever is important as instructed on the form. This way you will make your petition application easy for them to access. For this skype stuff or whatever your way of communications you don't need to include. You can keep them till the day of the interview when your fiance will apply for visa in her country.

Hi! just keep all the evidence of relationship that you have especially if you've been meet together only in one time. Evidence like, remittance, pictures, emails, phone bills, plane ticket if you had flight together and many others. during interview you must prepared ahead of time all the documents that needed and other supported documents because its better to be over prepared than lacking.

You can print out Skype logs by using the 'screen shot' button on your computer. I selected a sampling and highlighted the ones where we talked for over an hour. Also on our IM conversations - again I printed out a sampling and included the ones where we had extended conversations about our relationship and what we would do together after we got married.

Best of luck.

Bill, I'm really happy to hear that you did exactly what I did..and your petition is approved!! Yay! Congrats to you by the way :-) My husband and I speak every single day for at least an hour on Skype ...and I did the screenshots as you described to document them. We also wrote letters (on paper) to each other over the past couple of years and I copied those and the stamp on the envelope to indicate the dates, etc. Our conversations were similar (we longed to be together..to get married and spend our life together, etc).

Good to hear this... thanks!

We took about a 1000 pages of skype and yahoo messenger they just thumb through the first couple and last page i think looking at dates then hand them right back to us. I would not suggest printing them all maybe a few pages from each week and emails phone records any western unions and pictures. Then make sure they know everything about you from the car you drive to how much you get paid and where you work anything you can think of they will ask
