Hello all, We prepared our application ourselfs checking all the boxes making sure everthing is right then sent I-130 on 16th April from Australia to Chicago Lock box. Does anyone know how long it take to get back NOA1? many thanks, mike

You can check the 'immigration timelines' button on this web site. The NOA1's come back pretty quick - it's the NOA2 that usually takes several months - our NOA2 took something like 6 months.

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

PLEASE HELP!. Sent package 15 days ago. I just learned that the Australia Post Registered package i sent is not trackalbe...and Aus Post cant tell me JACK! where the package is...what the hell is with the consignment number they peel off and give you good for! i also learned that the international cheque made in US dollars i sent with my I-130 has not been cashed yet...this does not look good. Please tell me i havent stuffed this up from the very begining?
