When I was waiting for my NOA2... I research everything so that as soon as NOA2 came--I had no questions and I was ready to move to the next step. I am glad I got my NOA2 in less then 4 months cause

Congrats! Where did you file it: California or Vermont? Are you a November, December or January filer?

3/22/2012: Sent I-129F from Spain to Dallas Lockbox

3/29/2012: Packet received at CSC

4/2/2012: Touched

4/3/2012: Received Email notification of Receipt w/ case number

4/3/2012: Check cashed

4/13/2012: Received NOA1 hardcopy in Spain

7/19/2012: NOA2 approval (email and text notifications)

7/25/2012: NOA2 Hardcopy received

7/27/2012: NVC case number received

7/30/2012: NVC sent packet to US Embassy in Madrid

8/16/2012: Received packet from Embassy

8/23/2012: Received appointment letter from Embassy

8/28/2012: Interview and Approved!

8/31/2012: K1 visa received!

Hi MY VJ Friends !!!

I am so happy and excited to share the good news with you guys. I received a text message and email confirmation that I am approved and no RFE yayyyyy :D . I have not received the hard copy of my NOA2 approval yet, but hoping by Monday I will. I can't tell you how happy I am :) . I was reading everyones good news and their approval message, it feels so great to finally it is my turn to share my happiness with you guys. Last night was a great night for me when I got the text and read the email, I immediately called my fiance and gave him the good news. I could not sleep the entire night because I was too excited and happy. :dance: I thank all of you guys for your help and guidance. VISA JOURNEY FELLOWS, you guys rock!!! :thumbs:

Now, will you guys again help me with the rest of my journey and tell me what will be next? What I need to do now?

Congrats! :) as of the moment im still waiting for my case no. from NVC... i was approved last 04/18.. So u can call NVC after 5-10 days if they already received your case. Some already had their case no's after 3days. GOOD luck! :)

Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you..

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

When I was waiting for my NOA2... I research everything so that as soon as NOA2 came--I had no questions and I was ready to move to the next step.

I am glad I got my NOA2 in less then 4 months cause if I would have had more time then I would have started studying the paperwork for citizenship.

While you are waiting for your case number or case to be transferred is probably a good time to start studying.

You do not have to fill out your timeline. If people ask you to and you have no intention of doing it then you might just fill it out with false info anyhow.

The timelines help us to help others

With others timelines we are able to tell people how long it takes a case to get assigned a nuber

how long it takes a case to reach the afganistan embassy

how long men are in AP from Afganistan

So, unfortunately we will never have many answers for people from certain countries that do not like to help others by sharing their info.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS
