If I was in your shoes, I would do (2) two things 1), Somehow, let the "duped" know to save him from this DIYABLO and 2), Email the Embassy. This might stop the scammer from slithering onto the plane.

If you are a "small" girl, (such as 32-26-34) not only will you be shopping in juniors for clothes, but also in the girls section. Most undergarments under 36 inches are considered girls/teens clothing, not women's clothing. (Juniors sections are tween/teen sections.)

No. That's a size 2/4. Those measurements aren't small at all. It's the height. Finding a bra for that is not difficult either.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

it can be when she wants to shop at Wal-mar or what I call "el cheapo" clothing store.... she is not used to spening massive amounts of money on clothing or much else for that matter.... she is what I call a discount shopper. She prefers buying the cheap items. It is good. However, the problem is educating her that the cheapest item is NOT always the BEST item to buy. You have to make to invest the proper amount on the proper item to get the right quality you need. Over time, it will start catching. right now it is just the monetary issues from child support, car payments, house mortgage, plus other items which are a "shock" to her system right now. she as well as her family is finding out just making more money does not mean more money. It usually means accpeting more responsibility plus being diligent not to let the more money you make be wasted on items which cost you over the long run.

Heave her watch the higher end stores for sales. You can get things cheaper than the cheap stores if you're patient.

You omit a few items. Am i correct in that the wife is still in the philippines, waiting for immigration?

You also don't admit to how you found out this information, Unless the wife, maria, tells you first hand, the information is gossip, or 2nd hand.

I think the situation is too far gone for you to act of kindness towards him. The husband, thru his courtship, engagement and marriage has failed to see evidence of her possible cheating. Any input/help? from you would appear to be an act of sabotage to their marriage. Regardless whether she is cheating or not cheating, news of infidelity(fact or fictional) destroys trust. Trust takes forever to build but a second to destroy. If this woman is as you stated, the husband will either recognize in the future and act on it, or decide to live with it.

On your side. its a sad note to hear this farce playing out and it hurts everyone to hear of intentional schemes of scamming for money.

I find many philipino's are competitive with neighbors. My question for you is: Were you also playing 'competitive-neighbor' when you told her initially of all the material things your Kano provided you? Do you feel any remorse for possibly giving her the idea of fishing for Kano?

My wife is still in the philippines. She has to deal daily with competitive neighbors. Many of her neighbors ask. How much do i give her? How much is he worth? She, in her better wisdom, gives no details regarding her allowance and benefits of our marriage.

To answer your question. Unless you know first hand the information. Dont act on it. Secondly, since you dont know the husband. Dont act on it here, even if its first hand.

 Totally...!

Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.

Edit to add:

That's my advice, giving you BOD that you are "innocent" and not somehow involved in the drama.

Frankly, I'm a little suspecious. Hard to believe that you are friends with Maria and yet, not involved.

Everybody says "It's not my business" and that's exactly one of the problems with today's society.

Just today my husband drove past a labrador dog in the middle of a country road, no houses nearby. Alive but standing there looking confused. Completely drenched and wearing a collar. By most of the posts here most posters would just drive past that dog because it's "not your business". Not your dog, you don't know the dog, you don't know it's owners. My husband of course did NOT just drive past and long story short that dog is now home with it's owners. I am EXCEPTIONALLY proud of him for doing this. I would hope someone would do the same for us if they ever saw our dogs out and about. Slightly different situation of course but still someone getting into someone else's business.

I'm an avid animal lover. But I also

have the experience of being bit by

a dog half the size of a Lab. It was

someone's beloved pet and he was a cutie

and still is a cutie. But he just snapped

and went nuts and I had a very painful

gash under my right breast that resulted

in a trip to the urgent care and a big

shot in the bum, and several days of not

being able to wear a bra. When the furball

flew at me, all I could do was frantically

cover my face.

Am I more wary of dogs I don't know? Absolutely.

Would I give animal control a ring on the mobile

if I passed by a dog in distress? Absolutely

You know what bothers me? I tried to call some sort of ASPCA or pound, or shelter or something one day for some random reason I don't remember... I was told there isn't one anywhere near me. I happen to live in a "dead zone" (no pun intended) where I'm too far from the 2 big towns who would deal with it... I have absolutely zero idea who I would call in this area if I spotted animal cruelty, or an animal in distress or whatever... life in Houston was scarier but at least that was one thing I knew there!

I know what you are going through. asawa ko and I are watching her cousin right now go through a relationship which bothers the heck out of me. The guy just "doesnot feel right to me". He is one of those types of guys which may be a good guy, but things he does and has done bothers me a lot. but nothing I can say will dissude her from what she is doing with him. Maybe things will change. She has a really hopeful spirit aabout her, but she is also naive as many people are in the village and I feel he is using that to his advantage. I just know eventually he will push the Filipinos in the village too far and all Ican do is watch it happen hoping my wife's cousin does not get hurt through all of this.

Hey give the poor guy a break. He is probably just lacking your sensitivity and keen insite into Filipino culture.

Totally different... be it a dog or a person stranded along side the road I would stop to help, and have done it many times. But the situation of the OP is not seeing a stranded person or dog, it more like seeing a rabid dog... best not get too close.

I think a more accurate analogy would be a rabid dog attacking someone. This dog already has her teeth in someone.

I would feel compelled to get out of my car and land a few good kicks if I couldn't find a 2x4.

OP does have to take into account the possible repercussions if the girl looses her new meal ticket and suspects OP is responsible.

OP is safe but her family still within easy reach.
