Mr Pangga here,

I just received a Second I-797C (Notice of Action). this looks very similar to my First I-797c (Notice of Action) Received Date 15 March and Notice Date 19 March.... This SECOND I-797C has added the AXXX XXX XXX and the same Received Date 15 March but also has NOTICE Date 20 April. Both from CSC.

this link says NOA#2 (I think) http://www.visajourney.com/faq/k1k2visa-I129f.html#3.1

Sunshine is peeing her pants right now with JOY & Happiness. I hope she is right, but seems WAY-TOO-FAST for me. Also I DID NOT ask for expedite.

What do you guys think???

TY :) God Bless

The second one, should be a I797 (nothing after it.) Having the A-number is good. It should state in the body of the notice, the case has been forwarded to the NVC. Please allow 30 days for processing to get to NVC.

the approval notice is not too soon. If you followed the guides on here, and made sure everything is correct. Made sure the layout was easy to follow, then there is no reason to not have an approval notice now. Anything is is possible. Most of the time applications have taken longer is because the layout was in the wrong order, or something was not done right.

Congrats on the approval. Still have a month wait from the NVC. Then things will go along fast. Once the case gets to NVC, it typically goes to embassy in 3 days. Make sure to call NVC in about 3 weeks to 4 weeks to follow up and find out when it gets in. The get MNL number from NVC. once you get MNL number, your fiance can pay at the bank for the embassy interview. You can go to the US embassy website and sign up for the online Visa application area. Note the K-1 is under immigrant area. You won't be able to schedule until you have the MNL number and pay the fee, you can schedule without waiting for application to get to the embassy. (in scheduling, once you get the MNL number from NVC, find out when sent to Embassy, give 2 weeks for processing to Embassy, (1 week to travel, 1 week to enter.) You should expect to be able to interview in 60 to 90 days from now. Please note the embassy WILL NOT send you an approval letter to interview. You will have to follow up on your own with NVC, and schedule appropriately.

If you have questions, please let me know. I am jealous you were approved so quickly. Ours took a lot of time last year. Again, congrats. Get ready for the Embassy interview, St. Lukes, medical, and CFO. things are going to move quickly.

Folks,

This is a full page (too much to re-type here):

1. First line says: "Receipt Notice - This notice confirms that USCIS received yur application or petition ("this case") as shown above"

2. I do not see "Approved"

3. The VJ Link above clearly states about the A# being added is the NOA#2. yes I realize NOA#2 is a VJ Term. I WISH VJ to rewriet or reword the LINK above about the A# so this does not confuse others too

TY :) Simply looking like a NOA#1 with the A# Added on another I797C. My NEW TERM IS NOA#-1.5 LOL

Yes so it looks like it's not a NOA2, but another NOA1...

Are you a naturalized US citizen? My fiance is, and we have his old A# on our NOA1. There are our 2 A# on our NOA2.

BTW, the link you sent has some small mistakes (some pages on VJ are not up to date so it's possible to find old info). For example, NOA1 is I-797C and NOA2 is I-797, the link doesn't say that.

Sorry it's not an approval notice... I agree that's confusing that you received 2 times a NOA1!!

Problem is that now you have 2 notices with 2 Notice date 1 month apart. I would inquire and call USCIS to know what happened and hope your case won't be delay of one month now!

Does your first NOA1 say the same thing, meaning that they received your case?

Regarding 1 month delay? I do not think so the first I-797C is on Security Paper and the Second I797C is NOT on security paper.

always pay attention to the form and what is said. Strange it would generate another I797C... I would contact hte USCIS and verify the reason for a second notice. If the second notice is not on security paper (green sheet or something similar) I would be looking for RFE or documents needed or something. Generally, RFE letters are not on security papr. The I-797c and I-797 look very very very similar. However, the I-797 approval notice
