It appeared that they stamp the cashiers check already so maybe they would accept just 1 check for both of us.. i hope

they normally do but because you asked about money i thought I'd ask :)

hello jessie!we filed for AOS for k1 and k2. April 18,2012.And as of now we haven't received any news from USCIS.I also signed all the forms for my daughter and just wrote mother after my signature.i signed in the area prepared by applicant and also signed in the area where it says prepared by other than the applicant.Although we wrote 2 separate checks for each application,i am still worried upon reading your post.keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best regarding our AOS papers.pls keep me posted.thanks.tc.

since got cashiers check from bank maybe return to the same bank and ask them cash it and issuce 2 checks ??

I think yours will come soon, they said they will send NOA1 up to 30 days so no worries, will re send ours tomorrow..

if they already cash the check, call them up.. likely they just need the document, not the payment as it was already made.

We sent a cashier's check from bank, if we're going to send another check it will take some time for the money to get back in the bank. The reason we haven't filled right away coz money was tight. so that's the only money we got for now is the cashiers check. i didn't signed the signature box. maybe that's what is missing. thank you so much

The following documents may be provided:

* Form 1-130

*a copy of yor 1-797 if the I-30,I-140,I-130 has been filed

You don't need separate checks for the forms you filed together. Only 1 check is needed.

09/19/2011 - noa1 received

3/16/2012 - case sent to my local USCIS office for additional processing

4/21/2012 - AP. If we haven't heard from them in SIX MONTHS (omg) we can feel free to call them!!! Thanks!

9/20/2012 - Interview scheduled - October 3!!!!

10/3/2012 - Interview went well but she must look at his A-file more before decision.

10/12/2012 - I-130 APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

KIDS' CASES

04/20/2012: NOA107/20/2012: instead of an approval, we got thrown into AP. sigh

11/01/2012: Boys' I-130 interview set for November 28, 2012.

11/28/2012: I-130s APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

12/14/2012: NVC Received

12/31/2012: Case number/IIN

12/31/2012: DS-3032 sent

01/08/2013: DS-3032 accepted

01/02/2013: AOS bill0

1/03/2013: AOS bill shows PAID

They sent our package back with rejection notice because we sent only one check!!!We resent with 2 checks and it was accepted.
