I received my NOA (for naturalization, form N-400), on march 30. I know that I have to wait at least a month after I received the NOA, and then call the USCIS (for the request), but also I know that other users using this site, are saying that the biometrics are good for 15 month. My last biometrics were taking on abril 20, 2011 (removing of conditions), and they received my application on march 23, 2012 (N-400),..... it means that maybe I'm not having the biometrics for naturalization? Somebody has been in the same situation????????????

There will be a set of biometrics for this step as well.

Florida12, you are pretty much on the same timescale as myself. I had my BIO taken for my I751 in July 2011 and I filed my N400 in late March 2012 and have a priority date of 27 March 2012. I fully expect to be requested to have my BIO taken again this time even though it is only 9 months since the last time. In some ways I would rather have my BIO requested again as at least I know the process is actually moving forward step by step that way.

I am also at the Orlando DO and they are notoriously slow with BIO, in fact I know someone with a priority date 2 weeks prior to mine and was only yesterday been sent their BIO appointment letter, I expect to have to wait for mine another 2 weeks so I feel you should expect the same.

On the plus side Orlando is still completing the whole process in a little over 4 months so I expect once our BIO is taken we will receive an interview letter fairly swiftly.

Be patient, all will work itself through.

It would not be unusual for a biometrics notice to take 4-6 weeks to come through, so you might still get one, but, if they do link your application with your relatively recently collected biometric data, you would not. To add one more data point to the cases you have been following here: In our case, the application for naturalization was filed in December, the interview took place in February, and the oath ceremony took place in March, without a biometrics appointment ever being scheduled.

Eddie 67, I didn't know the process for Biometrics in Orlando was slow, and if you say the whole process here is like 4 month, that's pretty cool. I'll be patient at that point, worrying about that, is not going to speed up anything, I'll keep you posted about my case considering we got almost the same timeline, and if you do the same that would be great... Good luck .

hi Eddie67:

Just received an email saying that they sent me the biometric's appointment on may 04, hopefully you'll get yours pretty soon.

Excellent, good news.

Still nothing for me but I think it will come through shortly..... I hope

Possibly. Alla did not. We just got a letter to attend the interview, Her ROC biometrics were within 15 months

HOWEVER, when she went for the interview they took her fingerprints and she had to bring a passport photo. So she ended up having them anyway...but not in a separate appointment
