I receive my NOA1 and my case is at CSC - Is this good news?

well i mailed my case to Arizona lockbox per instructions and I recently recieved the NOA1 stating my petition will be processed at CSC

I checked the recent timeline here on VJ and I am abit confused as to the wait time. It seems CSC is the worse currently and VSC is best. Am I reading this correct?

I just read a post from a VCS member who claims his processing time went from 5 months to 8 months. I've read similar posts through out the day, including one where someone believed that VCS was closing down. From what I can see, based on timelines here on VJ, CSC is hovering around the 5 month mark. I'm not entirely certain if any of the rumors concerning VCS are accurate, and I can't honestly say that I know why their processing times seem to be slowing down.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

lol right you are. I have studied the material on here many hours many nights. I am ready for the next step. However, I don't know everything so hopefully I will get some help here as well to make the journey easier :)

The process really tests ones patience... I'm three mths in and it feels like forever..

Started Talking: 1998

Dated for 3 yrs, separated, & reunited after being apart for about 10yrs

Got married: Dec. 3rd, 2011

USCIS:

01/28/12 - I-130 Application filed and sent

02/07/12 - I-130 NOA1 Received neither email nor text.

07/12/12 - Received NOA2

NVC:

08/02/12 - Case number received

08/06/12 - Invoice ID Received

08/09/12 - Aos bill & Ds-3032 received

08/09/12 - AOS bill Paid

08/13/12 - Ds-3032 Accepted

08/15/12 - IV Bill received

08/15/12 - IV bill paid

08/23/12 - Case Completed

09/14/12 - Interview date:10/17/12

09/14/12 - checklist received

not that it only feels life forever. IT IS INHUMANE!!! business visa get priority over family visa if you look at the processing time.

good luck and make sure you have a direct way to connect to your spouse. i have skype-to-go number which i call a u.s. number that will redirect to china.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

07/31/12 - Emailed GZO Supplemental Packet 3.

08/02/12 - Case completed and commenced final review.

08/03/12 - Shipped all copies of forms/letters/documents to my wife - arriving on 8/9/12.

currently csc has the best processing time.

vj timeline is an estimate based on data from vj members. some members choose to fill it in and some just left it half done. the estimates may or may not be accurate for your case.

Good luck on your jurney!

I believe it doesn't really matter where the applications are precessed, the difference (according to VJ's stats) is only a few days. Hope and pray that your packet is all in order so you don't ge any RFE's. I hope everything moves smoothly, so we can all be with our loved ones soon.
