Krikit is easily the best moderator on VJ since LaL and Mags.

Krikit as mod to mod (s)he might be good, but lately I have come across him multiple times where the Mod authroity were mis-used and threaten ppl to ban ppl from thread.

This has happen multiple time, where someone just creates an account starts asking question and regular member would tell the OP that its visa fraud, making op mad and making threatning calls toward the regular member.

Krikit would jump in and start making comments aginst the regular member in favour of OP who just created the account.

That just does not make any sense to me instead of calling out to OP and letting OP know that other regular members were giving correct info Krikit would not support the regular members.

How is that a good moderating?

I think everyone should become a mod. VJ would be awesome!

In fact lets have a moderator day - say from 5pm eastern to 5am eastern everyone gets the keys for a test drive....then the next day Ewok cleans up.

its great moderating. nobody knows w/o checking the IP, if its a troll account or not. you have to do the checks in the backround while letting the discussion take its course. if you start banning new accounts w/o doing the check, you might be banning an actual new member or a member using an alias out of privacy concerns.

You have about 3 more years of waiting until your priority date on you petition to become a mod becomes current. In the mean time chill and learn about the process you are so anxious to moderate.

Seriously you probably won't be on this site weekly let alone daily in 3 years. Most people pass through this site until their alien arrives and then fade away. Mods are multiyear members who have no life so they stay long after their alien has become one of us ( or the are the alien that has stayed long past POE )

yea i see what you mean. most ppl once finished have no reason for being here on daily basis. That said I am willing to make the sacrifice to help VJ stay a great place. But what you said yes it is very true indeed. I am an exception i feel. Time will tell surely...
