Still here from the very old TSC group

Just wanted to update everyone that was a part of the original TSC transfer group, my wife and I are still in the process. We're just thru some of the last paperwork hurdles now. While waiting my wife gave birth to our lovely daughter, which is now almost 8 months old. We had to go thru the other paperwork process for her, and her citizenship. We are waiting for the NVC to green light the DS-230 to Manila, which is our last step. I will say that if I would have known the headaches, the nights without knowing, and the frustration that we have had to face, I would do it all again. Everyone that is still around, thanks for being there for us during the whole process. Hopefully we will be able to report that our interview is done very soon. We're still happy and very much in love with each other, even with the process going. Our daughter is growing up and happy.

And to all of you that are going thru the process still, stay the course. It's only a matter of time before you are all together again. I know that it can seem a very long process of nothing but frustration, and agony because you are apart. But if the 2 of you can weather this, then you have a very strong marriage that can't be beat.

Well, more to you all later, hopefully a Interview date, for my wife.

Just a quick question for you. Did you or your wife send the DS-3032 to NVC...???

My wife sent me the DS-3032 and I sent it to the NVC. I also sent the DS-230's to the NVC from here. It seemed to make more sense, since the postal system there can take a bit. I also sent her all the documents that she needed via the USPS thru there Global Express service. It was cheaper then using FedEx. There was a $40 difference, and I was able to track the package from when it left here to when it arrived at her door.

The only system that we have used, is that she has sent me all the documents that are required, we both look them over, and then we send them along to the NVC. This way it arrives within 7 days. And we move the process along quicker that way.

Yes, everything we have done that has required paperwork was sent to me by her. This way we could personally go over all the paperwork and insure there were no errors at all in it. We have managed to get the whole process done by ourselves, without any errors. By doing it this way. If you have 2 sets of eyes reading the same paperwork, you can catch small errors before you send it away. We have talked via Skype and FB Messenger each day, so that we know what is going on. It's cheaper this way, and we have had no problems with the entire process. I am not going to say that it's easy, because you have to wait on the paperwork, but if the 2 of you check it, and then if you are the USC and send it, it's almost a 99.9% chance you have caught any of the small errors that we will make on the paperwork.

My wife used DHL to get the documents to me from Phils. I used USPS Global Express to return documents to her. It seems to work exceptionally well to move documents around the world, and it has saved us a lot of money. She has also used the Philippine Postal system to get me documents that are not critical, or needed right away for something in the process. There aren't many ways to move documents from Phils to the US. But DHL and USPS Global Express seem to be the easiest ways to move what you need back and forth.

Anything that I can do to help out, so that you can move thru the process and be with your wife faster then what it has taken me, I'll be more then happy to help. It's a process to get things done of course, but hopefully it will be short for the 2 of you.
