Waiting on London interview Appointment

Hey maybe I m being impatient but i sent package 3 back on 2nd april with cover letter and ds 2001 to say ready for interview, had the medical on friday 13th and now still waiting for an appointment. Should I wait a little longer or call? I did send recorded delivery so I know they received it. Anyone know how long we wait for appointment letter or even is there is any point in calling? Thanks

it takes a couple of week to a month from the date they receive the DS-2001 or the medical results... whichever is the later. you can call DOS though and ask if the embassy has all that is required from you if you want

So i phoned embassy they have everything and said i would receive a letter anytime up to another 3 weeks which is good i guess but seriously more waiting ..... just want to be with my darling now

Just to let you know, theCook, I had my medical on the 12th, and I called them up two nights ago, to confirm that everything had been received by the Embassy. They confirmed it had, and I stated that I was aware of a candidate who had received their date on the 21st March, and was curious if something had been holding me up. Two days later (today) and my letter has arrived this afternoon. Fingers crossed that you'll be next up.
