That's very weird, you get the Invoice number and beneficiary number from NVC, not from Juarez. Maybe try calling NVC again to speak to a different person.

CDJ number is for Juarez Consulate. That means your packet is there. The beneficary number is on your Letter of Action. They are two separate type of numbers. The beneficary number was assign at the start of your application. When your application reaches Juarez, then they give a CDJ number. Check your notifications. Good Luck.

What notifications? You are wrong. Beneficiary number and Invoice number are both assigned by NVC, and you will never see them in the notice of action, in the other hand the 'A' number (or Alien registration #) is the one that appears in ALL the NOA's and will be the number you will always use for future immigration steps... but that's a different deal.

OP, I suggest that once again you call NVC and request both numbers -again, they should give them to you. Good luck.

We are talking about the same thing. When you file your application, a number is assigned to identify the Beneficary. That is your beneficary number. From then on it is used for any actions. When you call NVC, they will ask for this number. When you receive any notifications, this number will be on the correspondences. I stated "notifications." It is any correspondence from the USCIS.

I think the confusion is what you are calling the numbers. The CDJ number is from the Consulate. It signifies the Consulate that is handling your case. Please remember you are dealing with two different government agencies, USCIS and Department of State. You will notice this when you fill out the forms such as I-130 and DS-260. The letters note the agency.

Please call NVC to help you identify the beneficary number. Tell them the numbers on your correspondences (NOA's). They should tell you which one is the Beneficary number. I do not think the Consulate can help you with this.

Good Luck.

:bonk: What you call the beneficiary number it is actually the 'A' number or Alien registration number. I am NOT a beneficiary anymore and I still have my A number. I think the one that is confused with the numbers is another..

Anyways, whatever it is... OP, I hope you were able to figure it out :)
