maybe you should test the theory.

About a month ago, a goat showed up at our place, and adopted us. I asked my friends, and my wife asked her friends, "Anybody want a goat?"

"Sure. Goat is tasty."

"You got to catch it, and take it home with you."

"Can't you just shoot it? We will take the meat."

"No. You catch it. You take it home -- alive. I don't care what you do once you take it home."

"No thanks."

The goat is still here. I am fencing a pasture for it. I haven't figured how to get it into the pasture -- yet.

if the dog was being a dog it would also be able to "stay on the porch" ... and give someone the look that says "you leave me alone ... i'll leave you alone"

when the dog becomes aggressive and the owner doesn't restrain the animal ... well the options get narrowed down quite quickly and in the end ... the dog will not be top dog ...

Shoot the owner for being stupid, not the dog.

But, he wanted to kill a dog that was doing what dogs do! That makes him evil! You don't shoot dogs just for being dogs! Why do you support the killing of innocent animals?

Haha well here is an example of zimmerman taking the police's advice....

the owner is ultimately responsible. if the dog is not controllable, then the owner is responsible for retraining, restraints, or get rid of the animal.

when the dog leaves it's territory (yard) and goes into the public arena ... it is a public nuance.

of course if there are leash laws for the community ... and the dog is outside unrestrained and gets aggressive ....

you could always line-up the owner and the dog ... and take care of both with one shot

go hurt some big badass's family pet. tell me how it works out for you and if your perspective is altered.

threats of violence are what they are. they may change what i do, they don't change what i think.

perspective is all about what i think.
