Dude i am from Gujarat...India..whats ur location dude..gujarat or somewhere else ?????

I just want to know did u obtain New PCC from Passport Office..if yes can u pls describe process .and after how many days of application submission do we get PCC ...coz now they have done everything online so...we need to make appointments online, upload scanned documents as per type of service we require i.e. PCC pay fees online and then visit Passport Seva Kendras as per our locality....

Yes, for PCC, you have to apply via PSK online. I've heard that in Gujarat you need an interview letter to obtain a PCC, though I'm not sure of it. I'm from Kerala and got mine without any hassle within an hour of having appeared at PSK, without any supporting letter.

Also which documents did u took with u during appointment and how many copies coz they need ..2 sets of documents to submit when we go there..

I didn't upload any document. I filled out the online application form and on the day of appointment took my passport with me. That's all. In my case, my passport had been re-issued just two months prior as I got my name changed post marriage. Not really aware of what other documents you need, but when you fill out the online application, you should get a list of documents to be taken with you.

OK...But did u paid the fees online or u paid the fees there at cash counter...the online system has options to pay fees online also..

Residence proof - Ration card, Electricity bill, Ration card, Driving Lisence

Passport photocopy with present address in it and original passport

Local Police Verification Certificate...

I understand that these documents vary from region to region...but i just want to know the whole procedure and general documents which we must take with us when we reach there coz here in gujarat it is very tough to get PCC from passport office specially from Ahmedabad Passport Office and now i will have to obtain from Vadodara PSK so i just want to make sure all documents are ok so that i dont have to go another time....Thanks for the reply and information u provided..

Pls do post ur full experience after ur interview..so that it may be helpful to all others whose interviews would be scheduled in future at Mumbai embassy....

Besides the AOS and IV what other bill did you have to pay and what was the amount. Also do you happen to know the link for the mumbai consulate that shows the list of May Interviewers?

AOS and IV fee bill are paid by the petitioner online. The beneficiary needs to pay VFS courier charges of Rs 387/- (I think, but it's under Rs 400/-), plus the medical fee at the hospital, plus for the Mumbai consulate, if you'd like to make use of their locker/cab facility, Rs 177/- for that. That's all.
