B1 VISA CHANCES PLEASE ADVICE

I have applied and my interview will be Next month...If i listen to most of the advice here,i will cancel my appointment but even though my wife is there,my going there is about the conference,just happen to be that she is there.Like i said she just left here last month,so no desperate intention here,i see no reason why i cant go through.

I'm really sorry, but I really can't give you any other advice than to try.

I think you will have a really difficult time getting the visa. Nigeriahas one of the highest visa denial rates for visa in any country. But not trying is a 0% chance. So by all means try. Have your documents ready and well organized. Present them as you speak. Hopefully you're approved, but don't expect it.

Timeline

Here is the hope for u OP - I was in similar situation and I needed B1 not B2 for my work.

The only difference were I was from India, have lived in US for many years before the my CR1, working for well known MNC and when I applied only thing was left for my CR1 was the interview.

Looking into all this I was granted B1 with pending CR1.

you can try and see how it goes.
