I am living in the US and my husband is living in Colombia.. We are going to start the paperwork next month but should I file here or there?! Do we get interviewed seperately in our own countries? Is one country quicker than the other? We want to start our lives together and we are just looking for helpful advise from our fellow international couples :D any responses are greatly appreciated!!

You, as the petitioner, will likely not be interviewed. Although it has happened it is not all that common. He will most certainly get interviewed in Columbia

how long have you been married. if you are married over two years then file 1-130 i-r1 visa ten year green card. if you got married recently then you file 1-130 cr-1 visa when you arrive in the us you receive a two year green card then you need to remove conditions.he will have a interview if you want to go and be with him for the interview it's permitted in bogata embassy

thank you THANK YOU!! Just saw these replies today, did not get any notification there were any responses. Okay I will send out the paperwork from here, we got married in his beautiful country just 2 months ago and I will try my hardest to fly out there when it is time for his interview, I want to be by his side for that (L)

We have only been married for 2 months now, I will try and go there to be with him for the interview.. Thank you greatly for your response!!

Follow the guides for I-130. He will be interviewed in Bogota but you will need to sart the process there in the US. Buena suerte y que Dios te bendiga.
