Card production ordered, but is it approved? confused

Hello! i had my AOS interview on April, 12. Yesterday i checked the status of my I 485 and that's what it says

Card/ Document Production

On April XXX, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

so does it mean i was approved? I'm confused because i expected it to say that the application was approved and there was no touch on I 130, it doesn't say whether it was approved or not. So i have no idea what's going on

They wouldn't order card production if they did not approve it. You do have an idea of whats going on, the status states your card is in production and will be mailed. Just wait for your green card in the mail.

I love how often this comes up..lif they are saying card production is being done, that means approval.

They don't make denial cards. ;)

July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

May 2012 - Received green card.

Day 0 - Package sent to Chicago Lockbox - 02/27/2012
Day 2 - UPS Tracking Confirmation - 02/29/2012
Day 4 - NOA Emails Received - 03/02/2012
Day 7 - All Checks Cashed - 03/05/2012
Day 11 - Hard Copy NOA's Received - 03/09/2012
Day 11 - Biometrics Appointment Received - 03/09/2012

Day 35 - Early Biometricts Walk-in - 04/02/2012

:blush: thanks! yeah, i know. you just never know with USCIS. they were telling me that my case was being processed, when it was closed. And i also saw a couple of threads in which people were saying that the status of application was Card production, but their I 485 was denied later on. now i feel embarrassed and happy! :blush:
