If I'm stood at my door and 2 dudes walk up with assault rifles up and out the words that 1st come to mind would be ' Get the ^&*# of my property'

I want to add, I treat people as I am treated.

and call me crazy- but who the %^&* says I owe THEM an explanation? Who do they think they are?

You don't owe them anything. But if they are looking out for your property what exactly is the problem? Seems like a calm discussion would suffice. "Thank you for your concern, but this is my home, I am your new neighbor, stand your rifles over there and lets have some coffee"

If they do not, then they end up like the two guys in the article.
