Sure, one needs to stand up to people pointing their guns at them. Especially if one has clearly done nothing wrong. Worked out very well for that kid here in Florida.

Good the title is changed. What they did has nothing to do with the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment is not a license for individuals to go onto others property and take action for perceived property crimes. Call 911 for that. The purpose of concealed carry is the defense of oneself or possibly others if a crime against a person is witnessed to be in progress. It is not for people to become their own police force.

The intent of the 2nd amendment is well defined, settled law, and no one in this case was "charged with a crime" for excerising it.

These two men were properly arrested for what they did.

You have no information to that effect either, but as I said, neither this case nor Martin is about anything other than an attempt to take away firearms, restrict concealed carry and end "stand your ground" laws. It won't work.

Martin was not shot for standing up to Zimmerman. Nor is there any indication yet that Zimmerman "pointed a gun" at Martin. I wish he had. If he HAD pointed a gun and Martin KNEW Zimmerman was armed he may still be alive. There IS indication that Martin attacked Zimmerman. I do not think he did that knowing Zimmerman was armed. But the results of that will be determined by a trial, as will the fate of these men...if it goes to trial in either case.
