we got two of our notifications today. I believe it is EAD and AP since routed to NBC.

Filed on April 26. Notice of action May 7. Expect NOA1 on I-485 around May 14, give time to get to Chicago, processed, then routed back to Phoenix. Too bad I just couldn't send to Phoenix Lockbox or take into the office.

Ah well, hang in there.... it takes time.

K-1 Visa Timeline:

02/11/2011 - Engaged at her house by her Godmother.

02/18/2011 - Engagement party with relatives - propose in Visayan.

02/24/2011 - K-1 packet sent.

09/18/2011 - POE, Viva Las Vegas, Baby !!!!! Home to Phoenix.

12/10/2011 - Official Wedding

07/05/2012 - Princess Rose born.

07/07/2012 - AP/EAD received.

07/17/2012 - AOS passed. (Birthday for Mama Rayos)

Hey Guys

After beeing super worried because we still didnt get any NOA after our package was received April 27th we called USCIS who told us to wait ten business days. I don't know if our call helped but we got an email today! Yay!

At least it didnt get rejected! Now we worry about RFE :unsure: because we didnt have the tax return for 2011 yet...

Also I got a military training so I had to answer yes to the question about military weapons :blink:

Anyways I m relieved that at least our file is beeing processed.

Good luck to any of you who are still waiting, really I think calling might help...

Email for Interview scheduled September 19th, August 14th 2012

Hard Copy Interview notice: August 15th 2012

Interview:approved on the spot, stamp in passport: September 19th 2012

Wife had Biometrics today and it was a breeze in and out within 15 to 20 minutes with very few people in the office. Got home and had another NOA stating that our case was being transferred to the CSC for faster processing. I hope its faster but dont recall hearing that about CSC. Hoping that it will result in an approval with no interview required. Anyone else in this situation with some insight?

Ok. So today I received another letter from USCIS stating that I needed to file form I-864 .... Any idea why or what that means? I filed I-864A because my father in law is my sponsor so I thought I had filed the correct one! Should i be worried or whats happening now? Any answers will be appreciated.

You still have to file the 864 even if you have a co-sponsor. The form your father filled out just states his information, not yours. Don't forget all the supporting documents!

I'm still waiting for my hard copy receipts as well so no worries. I actually called the USCIS two days ago about it and they told me that hadn't actually mailed the letters out yet and to wait until May 24th to see if I get anything. During the K-1 process I received the hard copy receipts within a few days but I guess it's different for the AOS process.

AOS From K-1 Visa (POE 4/6/12)

Day 1 (4/24/12): Sent I-131, I-765, I-485 via FedEx to Chigago

Day 3 (4/26/12): Delivered

Day 7 (4/30/12): 3 Texts/Emails Received with April 26th NOA1 Date

Day 8 (5/01/12): Check Cashed

Day 12(5/05/12): Biometrics Appt. Letter received (for 5/25/12)

Day 31(5/24/12): Successful Walk-in Biometrics

Day 73(7/04/12): Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 78(7/09/12): 2nd Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 79(7/10/12): Notification EAD/AP has been mailed and Notification EAD/AP Picked up by USPS

Day 81(7/12/12): EAD/AP card arrives!

Day 88(7/19/12): Interview for AOS: Approved!

Day 96(7/27/12): Green Card in Hand!!

Hello everyone,

I received a notification for Bio-metrics today :dance:

It has been scheduled for 5/22/2012. Do my wife (petitioner) has to come with me ? It just says on the notice that applicant have to be present at the schedule time with mentioned documents and appointment letter.

My wife is travelling in that week and she wouldn't be able to attend. Is she required ?

no she is not required to attend..

I did go however with my 3 yr old son and my husband (but it was not an issue at all)

March 19th - received NOA

April 13th - Biometrics

May 03rd - notified of interview (06/13/2012)

May 06th - received interview letter in mail

May 11th - received notification of EAD card in production

May 19th - EAD in hand

May 23rd - Applied for SSC

May 29th - Received social security card in mail (card in hand)

June 13th - Interview (approved on the spot)

June 13th - got notification of approval

June 18th - Card in production (also received welcome letter in mail)

June 21st - Green Card in hand

End of this journey....

we send out our papers on april 19th. got noa1 on april 24th and biometric on april 27th. so far our i-485 is still pending and didnt hear anything else yet...

hi again. The petitioner , your spouse must file form 864 whether or not she is the financial sponsor. you were right go have your relative file 864a if he is not a member of your household.

Thanks for the reply ;) by the way does my wife have to file form 864 only or do I need one for my father in law as well? Thanks.

Does this mean I have to file one for each? (Myself, Spouse, &father in law)??? I'm kind of confused now :/
