Hey everyone,

I was wondering how long before my actual appointment I should arrive at the embassy in Frankfurt, Germany. A friend told me that if, for example, I had my appointment at 9 am, I should not arrive past 8 am at the consulate and I would be too late for my appointment. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long before their appointment they arrived at the embassy in Frankfurt.

Thanks in advance!

Well, an hour earlier sounds good. Maybe even 1 1/2 hours earlier. You have to go through security and there will be probably a lot of people waiting in line. Not to mention traffic, depends on where you live. I can't really tell though, because I haven't been to an interview at the Frankfurt consulate. Anyways, you don't wanna miss your appointment. So better be safe than sorry.

Thank you Lady Bug! I wasnt quite sure wether it said a time in Pack 4 or just a date but I assumed it would be a certain time. I will arrive by train (I currently live in Munich) so it is about a 3 hour ride and I would rather be there early and not miss my appointment. I think trains depart every two hours so it is great to know already that I should be there at least 1 1/2 hours early!

Okay great. So I got my appointment at 8 am now. I thought they only open at 7! I am so afraid now that I will miss it. I am thinking about calling them and asking when I should be there at the latest. I am super afraid now that I will mess things up :(
