I received my approved NOA2 for I-130 on April 5 and NVC still do not have our petition yet. I hope you are right Peter that NVC has it but have not enter it into their system yet.

we received our Approved NOA 2 last March 22, 2012 and we have not received and good news from NVC . .

I think NVC is slowing down these days. We got our NOA2 hard copy last april21. and they also haven't received our case yet. guess we have to wait longer than we expect.

Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you..

The operator I talked to earlier yesterday told me they received both our files last Monday. Our NOA-2 was on April 5.

USCIS

10/01/11 - Filed (2) I-130's

10/04/11 - NOA-1

04/05/12 - NOA-2

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

05/14/12 - Daughter's IV fee invoiced, paid both IV fees - "IN PROCESS"

05/15/12 - Both IV fees show as "PAID"

05/16/12 - Sent both AOS and both IV packages to NVC via USPS (expected delivery: 05/19/12)

05/21/12 - All 4 packages delivered

05/30/12 - Received checklist for daughter's AOS

I know there are many others with earlier approval dates still waiting on NVC to receive their files. I called the other day, but the guy said they didn't have our files yet. And yesterday, I was told it was received last Monday. I think I'll call later to confirm - I hope the lady I talked to wasn't lying!

Uhm no...we dont call.We dont think calling them will help or make them work faster.But if we dont hear anything in 4 days,we'll definitely do it then!

Mine NOA2 date is April 12th. So 4-6 weeks between NOA2 and NVC# kind of normal? How come a damn piece of paper travelling from CA to NH takes such long time?

like 6 months of waiting for the approval was not long enough...sigh

Maybe they've already received your case. I've tried emailing them the first week to inquire about our case (I was assumming they'd get our files well within 1 week), and they said if there's still no news of your case reaching NVC after 15 business days, you could send them an email with a scanned copy of your NOA-2, and they'll contact USCIS on your behalf. I don't know if that helps, though.

I was wondering the same thing. It's not like CA and NH are on opposite parts of the world. Mostly 3 weeks for NVC to receive the case, and a week or so after that, the case number. I hope they'll go faster now, now that they've (mostly) got the IV fee invoices sorted out.

i get approved in 02 april, one week after i called the NVC and asked me to wait 02 business weeks

in 23 april, the operator said that the case has not reached NVC yet ....

today , i tried once again , the operator confirmed that our file is in NVC since 16 april

but not in the system yet ...and that i have to wait another 20 business days to get a case number

i don't understand what's going there ,why they lied when i contacted then in 23 april?

how come they confirm me today that my file is in nvc since 16 april ???

But anyway , now that i know that my file in nvc , i should keep calling them until i get my case n°

when you got your NVC #, please post back here so that we all can feel bit of relieved.
